Running out of time for our next appointment, we ordered via Grab from Mila's Tokwa't Baboy.
I got to know about this via Chef Sandy Daza's post. I'm sure glad we did not miss out on this Institution as my wife says "they really know food." By that she means the food has the right flavor profile with varying textures that would make your taste buds swirl in all directions. Plus the accompanying sauces they provide heightens the sensation further to another level thus there is no monotony.
As her flagship product, we got Aling Mila's Tokwa't Baboy (P400) which thoughtfully came in separate packaging so the crispy Tokwa won't get soggy. We also got her Sisig (P440) which according to Chef Sandy is one of his favorite versions which we agree with. It's crispy and succulent with all kinds of deliciousness mixed in. We tried their Half Tocino Pork BBQ (P200) which was again a good find. We rounded it out with an order of Pako Salad (P205) which my wife was raving about since it came with the right amount of red eggs and ONIONS plus the perfect vinaigrette.
The best delivery food we've had in a while. HIGHLY...

I am so excited to taste their Tokwa't Baboy because based on it's name, that is their main dish.
When we got our orders, I am really disappointed! 🙄 Where is the pork?! I can only see pig's ears which I really don't eat and I don't like to eat that! All fat and pork skin! 🥺
The price is expensive for just a tofu and pig's ears! Tofu is great because of its crispyness, the sauce is salty like it's just a plain soy sauce.
We also ordered Chicharong Bulaklak, it's really crispy but the serving is not for sharing. Lols They said their serving is good for 3-5 persons but it's nit enough for 1 even for 2 persons. 🤣
Will not eat here again. We just tried because local Kapampangan said that we try...
Read moreTried Mila’s because of the hype, but sadly it didn’t live up to expectations. The sisig was underwhelming — definitely not the original Kapampangan style. Their branch in san fernando was waaay better. It was overloaded with pepper, masking any real flavor. Totally meh and a waste of money, honestly.
To make things worse, the staff’s attitude toward persons with disabilities (PWD) was disheartening. Presenting a PWD card seemed to annoy them, like it was an inconvenience which is unacceptable and just plain wrong.
With mediocre food and a negative customer service experience, I don’t see myself coming back. There are better places that serve authentic sisig and treat all customers...
