This place had such wonderful reviews. The pictures on the website looked cozy enough considering how low the prices were that we were sold on the idea of this being our home away from home.||||Unfortunately, it may have jacked up our expectations a wee bit...||||RESERVATION PROCESS: 10/10||||It was quick and painless. We called pretty late into the evening, and someone still answered immediately. They checked if they had available rooms, asked for your name, jotted it down, asked if pick up was needed, and then, recommended that we walk-in for cheaper pricing on accomodations. The notes, I suppose, were in case a sudden influx of customers came and they had to hold a room available for you.||||TRANSPORTATION: 10/10||||We did most of our commuting from SM City Clark. KLM provides free transportation to the mall and Fields Avenue. All we needed to do was call the Receptionist to set it up and we were good to go.||||LOCATION: 6/10||||It's within a residential area. Quiet, serene, and peaceful. Except for that one instance where a jeepney roared to life as it left the garage a couple of houses over. Thankfully, the sound was muted within our room.||||If you're thinking of walking to the nearest food joint, expect a long walk. Transportation is vital in getting around the area and with no visible Parking Lot, you may decide to sidle the car up as close to the sidewalk as possible. ||||On the trip back to the condotel sometime in the evening, we passed by Fields Avenue and encountered Angeles' rush hour. We were moving slowly, and it made me uneasy sitting in the car while women walked about enticing would-be customers for the night. I had to recheck all locks and my partner helped me calm down a bit.||||POOL: 2/10||||Upon arriving at KLM, the pool is the first thing you'll see. It's right beside the entrance to the condotel. It was about the size of a queen/king-sized bed and it was absolutely filthy. There were leaves floating on top, and you could see all the dirt that settled at the bottom.||||The only reason this did not rate a zero was due to the staff's sensitivity to our horribly concealed disappointment. The day after, they began cleaning it. And, when we peeked over our balcony to check if we could at least soak for a bit, we saw the water moving. We were so excited! Until they stopped the machine and invited us to swim. The pool water was this murky blue color and you could no longer see the bottom. So....yeah....nope. Not swimming there.||||ROOM: 5/10||||The room was very spacious. We noticed that while it looked clean, it either hasn't been occupied for a while or it hasn't been cleaned prior to checking in. The floors were dusty, and for some reason that escapes us, we were unable to pack our slippers. We were wearing our sandals or stepping on folded pieces of tissue while walking around. We noticed suspicious, crusty white stains on the living room couch. The place had a small water heater for coffee/tea and a bar refrigerator on the counter. In the bathroom, we saw a cut off corner piece from a sachet, and a half empty bottle of shampoo. 2 airconditioners were in place to cool the entire area. The bedroom's dresser had masking tape on one side and the balcony was caked in dust.||||After the initial inspection, I was bent on checking out and moving to a different hotel, but my partner convinced me to stay as we would be moving around a lot anyway and the bed was very comfortable.||||FOOD: 5/10||||People were raving about how the free breakfast meals were filling and how amazingly tasty they were. ||||I, personally, think that pre-packaged, processed food is usually tasty anyway. I like how they cooked the sunny-side up eggs and the rice needed a bit more garlic to be considered garlic rice. We had bacon the first morning, and hotdogs for the next.||||Eating lunch and dinner proved to be a bit more complicated especially if you typically hold odd hours. KLM doesn't seem to have an in-house cafe/restaurant. They provide you with a bunch of flyers from fast food chains and then, you call the Receptionist to place the order for you. Do your research. Check for updated prices and menus online, ask if the restaurants deliver 24/7, etc.||||CUSTOMER SERVICE: 9/10||||While the transportation service was a very good thing to offer considering the location, what made the stay memorable was the customer service. The people we would pass when moving about the place were non-intrusive and they always had a smile ready when they catch you looking at them. The security guard was pleasant and I noticed how he took note of the want for a dip in the pool. The receptionist went out of her way to look for other activities we could try. The driver, when asked, would explain some areas we'd pass. And their voices, even when chatting amongst themselves, was kept to a low enough volume as to not disturb.||||My partner and I keep odd hours. With that in mind, when we'd get hungry at 2am and call the Front Desk for food assistance, the voice over the phone remained pleasant and perky.||||I'd like to note, however, that prior to checking in, we had to call KLM twice to inquire about our meet up place and time. Both times, a man answered and informed us that he didn't know the answer to our questions as he wasn't the driver but reassured us that a note would be left at the front desk regarding our concerns. ||||All in all, for the price they ask, the stay was pleasant enough. Granted, not enough to rave about. While the staff was pleasant and made the place memorable, the level of cleanliness did bother me quite a bit. The next time we visit Angeles, though, I'd probably look for a...
Read moreFirst and foremost, I want to say that I am very glad I choose this hotel over the others I was looking at. It is less than 1 year so it's practically brand new. Here are my observation after staying for 5-days.||||Hotel was really good. Rooms were bigger from what I've expected it to be with EXCELLENT two air conditioning for a studio type, it is complete from dining table to kitchen to sofa, cable TV, and the separate bedroom itself. It feels very homey, safe, and exciting to spend the night to. The architecture of the place and the interior design has been done really well. You can even stay for months as what I was told to since it really looks like a condo unit as well. Everything looks clean and it's a modern style hotel. ||||Free wifi throughout the WHOLE hotel, not just the room. It's very fast! The staff are very friendly and kind that will provide you anything you will be needing in your stay. Excellent room service available 24-hours. Rooms comes with breakfast for two each day you stay and their breakfast meal is really delicious! And you can also request but with a few extra charge. It's also very near from Clark Airport and 5 minutes walk to Friendship (Korean Town) where you can savior international dishes. We had free transportation nearby the hotel and the fields. ||||Overall, I will definitely return to this hotel for my next visit. I love the private location, staff, and room. The room rate of this hotel is really cheap! I got their 2,000 promo and I would really recommend this hotel to all of my friends and to the people looking for a nice place to stay without spending too much money for luxurious hotels because the interior of their rooms...
Read moreThe staff and guard are really friendly and good except for the supervisor or the upper personnel there. It's a shame really. While having a call with her, She said Im really funny in an insulting and mocking voice while laughing while im still talking. It made me really offended and angry. She even sound judgemental when she heard that I speak tagalog and said "Ah... filipino..." My boyfriend is a Korean, so he asked me to help talking with her. Very insulting. Hope their HR Head see this or the upper management and took an action. They charge us for 800 pesos due to a tiny stain on a towel hence it's not even ours. We didn't notice it for all we know it's really tiny. Even we explained anything, her focus is to charge us for 800.00 pesos and while I am talking, she turned off the phone and cut me off. Not a good etiquette. HENCE! This is a honest opinion not just because we got angry. Rooms are really bad, very humid and has a lot of molds. In Bathroom u will notice a lot of molds and white stains on the wall. NOT PROPERLY CLEANED. they said they are really specific and properly cleaned on their rooms but not really. There are also has a lot of bugs and mosquito inside the room. Aircon even smells vinegar due to unproperly clean. The sofa even smell like an old rug. Dont even try to book here , just book on other hotel if you dont want to be...
