We got seated right when we dined in past 1pm. Only 2 tables were occupied. We ordered steamed crabs, fried crabs, jumbo shrimps, elephant shells, crab soup and rice. We requested that the fried crabs be served 1st as our appetizer. They served the complimentary fried peanuts.
But, the steamed crabs w/o other seasoning, were served 1st. For 2 pcs. of medium size, P2400 was expensive,
F/b the crab soup.
Then, the supposed to be appetizer, fried crabs were served. Thought that they were crablets or talangka. They were only small blue crabs, whose shells got harder to bite because of the cornstarch. Hard to get the meat also because they were small.
Shrimps were covered with a thick sweet sauce, which we didn’t like. It killed the taste of the shrimps.
The steamed elephant shells were ok, having tried the 1st time.
Taste wise and the presentations of the foods served didn’t perk up our appetite. They were just ordinary considering the high price. A lot more around the areas that we tried and got satisfied with the taste and mind you, only half the price. Would you feel angry or frustrated? Leave that to...
Read moreAngry Crab was able to accommodate a large group with no reservation, and accepts US credit card. They have options for open air covered seating, or private dining rooms with AC and a call button to request service. The restrooms (comfort room) are clean and have both toilet paper and handheld bidet. The crabs are very fresh as evidenced by the crab tank near the entrance. There is also a handwashing station at the entrance. Street parking available.

The garlic chili crab was the group favorite even for the folks in our group who don’t like as much spice. We found ourselves spooning the extra sauce over the small fried crabs. We also liked the mixed tempura that included fried banana.
The fruit platter ended our meal with a nice sweet note - the mango and longan were perfectly ripe.

Read moreThe food was good but I wish they have more options for crab dishes like deep fried crab or salted egg crab etc.
Also, be sure if everything you ordered was available. We ordered the fried crablets but then they served us halabos na hipon instead. When we asked why, the server said they ran out of crablets. It would have been ok had they informed us ahead of time instead of just deciding on it on their own. They could have asked us what we want instead in lieu of the crabs.
Good thing I tried to talk to another server about the situation. Lo and behold! After another round of waiting, they served us our original order of fried crablets! Biglang...
