Nihon Aji International Buffet — Restaurant in Angeles

There is a plethora of food to look forward to! 😋 overall a good experience and would like to go back but I'll break down my review.

Food Super plenty options from Filipino food, Korean food, sushi, seafood, and desserts. Taste-wise, most are good nothing spectacular. Some of the deserts aren't as cold as it is supposed to be like the fruit salad. For the price, it was worth it for the most part.

Drinks Too sweet for our taste but I don't mind. To each their own.

Service I'd like to say they were very keen but in a good and bad way. They seem so uptight instead of friendly. They weren't rude per se, but there's only 1 server that genuinely smiled while serving. The rest gave off passive aggressive vibes. I understand the job gets tiring but I've seen better service elsewhere. The start of their service was good. Reserving a table was quick and easy, really good communication but the staff at the buffet area wasn't giving. Just my two cents, since I've been in customer service before, I can most certainly tell how their environment is.

When you're too lazy to drive far or deal with the mall, this place is just in Balibago.

Most people will hit the familiar pinoy food section, which means the good stuff is left alone. Salmon sashimi was edible. Salmon croquette balls were good.

Update: croquette balls are no longer salmon, it became tuna. Not tasty and dry.

More seafood than meat selections which is nice for a change.

The Japanese noodles with tempura was ok.

The soups are atrocious. Miso is supersalty. Beef soup too. Sinigang is sinigang and never bothered with the sukiyaki.

For healthy people looking for salads, they've got palengke lettuce, not the premium saladgreens. Not much in the salad section to be happy about.

Price matches the quality, which tells you what kind of place this is.

Oh also, everyone goes here to celebrate a birthday, so be prepared to hear back-to-back-to-back celebratory singing which gets ridiculous after a while. I sat thru 6 of them - why they can't consolidate it into one or be more discreet? Just remember how much you're paying so just...

By far my best international buffet experience to date.

They have a wide range of dishes to choose from, actually they have a dedicated country for each isle. So if you are into Japanese, Korean, American, Filipino and Chinese cuisine you'll definitely enjoy eating here.

They also cater to those who are Seniors and PWDs, so rest assured that you'll have the best experience here nontheless. Of course theres also that birthday promo that they are doing so be sure to check that out.

Overall the vibe of the restaurant is great. Its spacious yet compact because of the people present. The staffs are very accommodating greeting you and assisting you if they see you.
