Update: a year later we came back to lunch and things are still super top notch! Chef Allan is a very skilled creator of delicious dishes. The Burrata Salad with Arugula and the Arugula Pizza are amazing. The Spinach dip and Lasagna with Spinach pasta were absolutely top class.

What a treat to get an early sneakpeak at the soft-opening of the newest and biggest resort in Angeles City.
Sage Cafe & Restaurant, part of Ardesia Spa & Resort, is a wonderfully upscale Italian Restaurant with amazing food prepared from scratch by the expert culinary team. The resort is planned to open later in 2024, with the resto leading the way for patrons to dine amidst the beautiful, lush landscape in the hills of Brgy Margot.
Wife and I started with the Chef Allan's Tuna Salad and Salad Nicoise, both composed of crispy fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes from their own environmentally-sustainable hydroponics greenhouse. The pan-seared tuna with bits of mozzarella paired perfectly against the bite of balsamic vinegar.
Then we had the Garganelli al Funghi Porcini and the Ravioli con Ricotta and Spinach. Handmade pasta passionately made with care by the chef!
My kid had the Margherita pizza, made from scratch with basil from their organic garden, topped with a delicious chunk of mozzarella di bufala. He was even invited to watch the chef prepare the pizza by hand. Amazing!
Washed it down with a glass of wine, and tried the Sage Lemonade, a tarty, tangy frizzy lemonade made fresh like everything else. The kid had a delicious fresh mango shake.
This is by far the nicest resort in Angeles City and when they open doors, it's sure to be a smashing success. When you're on the premises, you'll quickly forget you're in the city, surrounded instead by the beauty of its natural environment.
We'll be back many, many times! Thank you to the excellent staff that offered excellent service and...

The Burrata Arugula Salad takes center stage, presented under a glass cover reminiscent of the enchanted rose from “Beauty and the Beast,” complete with a mesmerizing smoke effect. This dish is not just refreshing; it’s a visual feast that sets the tone for an enchanting dining experience.
Next up, the Garganelli Pasta shines with its rich, earthy truffle flavor, making it a must-try that will have you planning your next visit before you even leave.
The Half-Half Pizza, featuring both the flavorful Sage Pizza and a savory sausage option, delivers delicious toppings on a perfectly baked crust.
However, the Iced Matcha Latte was flat, lacking the vibrant matcha flavor and tasting more like cold milk only.
The ambiance of the restaurant enhances this magical experience, featuring an aesthetic decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere—perfect for a romantic date with your significant other. While the service was satisfactory, it complemented the overall experience without overshadowing the fantastic food.
