I went there for lunch because the food looked really good, but I was so disappointed. I was starving, but what I ordered wasn’t even tasty. And the staff didn’t even bother to welcome me properly. Their meat was so bland and super oily. Even their vinegar sauce tasted like it had been sitting on the table for a long time and hasn’t been replaced. Overall, the food wasn’t good at all!

I just had my dinner here tonight and they offer authentic filipino food. The service crews are also accommodating and very attentive to your requests. The serving time is quite lengthy though so if you will eat here make sure you are not time pressed.

Filipino dishes that suits your budget. Underrated resto. Their menu always served with salted egg, eggplant, tomato and soup.

This is my second visit to this very cool restaurant located in the Nepo Quad across from Starbucks. It would have been rated much higher if I reviewed it after my first visit. On my first visit I had the Adobong Manok at Baboy SA Gata, which is Adobo style pork and chicken with coconut. That is what the pictures are of here. I didn't take pics of the dish I had on my second visit. And I can't remember the name of the dish but it was a pork dish with rice, half a hard boiled egg, some eggplant and tomato, all cooked and served wrapped in a banana leaf. The second meal is only $99 pesos. The first meal was $199 pesos with the side of rice costing $25 pesos. The second meal is definitely a better value. They have a number of choices on their menu at that price. The food here is delicious but the service on my second visit was not so great. I had two different servers. Both were very nice but neither of them brought me eating utensils. The server who brought me my meal simply indicated that I was to turn the package over and unfold it to eat. I don't mind eating Filipino-style with my hands, but it would have been nice to have the option and a napkin would have been good as well. When my server did appear I joked with her and told her I didn't mind eating with my hands but I would appreciate a napkin. She laughed and rather than get me a napkin told me they had a wash station. I really don't want to close this review on a negative note. I will come back because the food here is delicious, some of the best I've tasted at the Quad. I recommend trying this place. UPDATE Decided to give this place another chance and came in for some lunch on a quiet Sunday around 12:30. There were two tables seated in the place and a third one came in while we were waiting. We had decided to sit outside. We received our menus but never saw the server again until nearly 15 min later. She came out and walked past us looking for something on the street. She started to walk back inside and I had to call her to our table. I was a little frustrated by this time I admit and I asked her if she wanted to take our order. She looked at me blankly. I asked her if she expected us to come in and get her when we needed something and then I asked if they were busy inside. I guess she didn't like my attitude. She turned to walk back inside saying "Opo". We left... I really wanted this story to have a happy ending. I'm...

I've been here many times for years now and I did enjoy their food. But the other day, I ordered for delivery of their tortang talong for the first time and it's the worst torta I've ever had. Also, their rice is now so malambot. I wish they would do...
