We just had our event here and I should’ve taken the 3.9 rating seriously because our customer experience was bad. First, 3 air conditioners in the event room were not functioning properly and it was hot inside the room, second, there were a lot of mosquitoes all throughout the event. Third, the comfort room inside the event room stinks. Fourth, we asked that the food be ready by 6pm but almost an hour has passed and our food were still incomplete. The manager can improve on this area since it is important in this industry to make sure that their customers will have a delightful experience but despite the bad experience, you know when someone talks to you without sincerity even if the person is wearing a smile...

We dined here around 6pm on a sunday, there werent much guests when we arrived. Serving time was average. Food quality was below average. Shanghai rolls sauce tasted like diluted jollibee catsup. The servers were a bit hard to call, and slow to respond. It was like eating at a karinderia/canteen; there were no placemats and utensils were wrapped in a tissue instead of being layed out on the table like the usual Max's setup.

In general, we were slightly disappointed as the experience was only okay. Portions were smaller and the quality has changed. Our family greatly misses the quality of food, service and comfort/warmth the Max's...

The food was great except the staff who served us was not paying attention to our order, specifically and reminded please no meat on everything because we're vegetarian. We were told serving time takes 15-20 minutes but we waited more than 30 minutes not just that but the chopsuey served with meat in it. We ended up waiting for longer time.
