Dining at Tong Yang Buffet is always a treat, and this visit was no exception. The variety and quality of food made the experience both satisfying and memorable.
The yakiniku station was a standout, offering fresh cuts of meat that cooked perfectly on the grill—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The sinigang provided a comforting, homey balance with its rich, tangy broth, while the mala soup gave that fiery kick for those who love bold flavors.
Seafood lovers are well taken care of, with fresh fish and a wide range of sauces that paired beautifully and elevated the flavors. To end the meal on a sweet note, the dessert spread didn’t disappoint—everything from cakes to local favorites was available, each one a satisfying treat.
What makes Tong Yang special is not just the abundance of food, but the balance of quality, flavor, and variety. Combined with attentive service and a lively dining atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for gatherings with family and friends.
Aside from the great food, what really made our dining experience memorable was the excellent service from Iboy and Francis. They were both very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. Plates were cleared quickly, drinks were refilled without needing to ask, and they always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had...
Read moreTalk about lack luster... here you'll see true unprofessional service at it peak. You'll see Chefs wearing backwards baseball caps just strolling about as if actually checking food quality. Cooks at their station gossiping rather than cleaning. I highly doubt any utensils were changed during service. Cross contamination was very apparent.
We sat down to our table.... it wasn't busy at all. I counted only 5 tables. 10 mins went by and no one even turned on our grill or ask us which soup we needed for the hot pot. I had to call the backwards wearing, baseball chef to do so. He did so nonchalantly and without urgency. I witnessed a birthday service, where one one server delivered the cake, and only after the bell rang many times. He did not seem too enthused.
The sushi chefs today were really, really sloppy and thier "sushi, maki" was just terrible. Whoever hired these clowns should rethink their employment. It tasted as if he used a dirty moldy rag to wipe his knife and then proceeded to cut the roll. I immediately vomited each piece.
My family and I have been coming here, at least twice a year, since discovering it back in 2019. Back then reservations were recommended and sometimes we would wait a while. But BACK THEN, it was worth it... I am sad to say quality and professionalism has gotten so...
Read moreI recently visited Tong Yang Bacoor and had a great dining experience. The restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh ingredients for both grill and hotpot, and everything was well-prepared and delicious. The variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables made it easy for everyone in our group to enjoy their own favorites.
The staff were attentive and quick to assist, from guiding us with the grill setup to replenishing items at the buffet. The place can get busy during peak hours, but the service remained efficient and friendly.
Parking can be a little tricky since the location is near the main highway, but it wasn’t a big issue because the process of dining and getting served was smooth and fast.
Overall, Tong Yang Bacoor is a great spot for family gatherings or group celebrations. Good food, attentive service, and a fun dining experience — definitely...
