First time to try what has been known previously as a local institution. I have a special affinity and liking for pancit palabok, so I was looking forward to trying this version here.
The pandemic hasn't been kind to this establishment which has seen better times. First time for me to eat spabok, which uses spaghetti noodles instead of vermicelli and other noodle types. The sauce and the chicharon bits hint at past food quality glories, but the paucity of ingredients highlight the vicious cycle of reduced food ingredients, due to less people eating here.

Read moreI was a long time customer and ordered recently after not being back in Bataan for so long. I was looking for Aling Idios but they said she is at home resting. The palabok i got is served cold and the taste are very different from the way it used to also they don't put the fresh chuncks of chicharon anymore but all crushed of mixed ready made chicharon. Packaging is all the same. The cuchinta and the lansong is just average. Also i saw the staff cut the calamansi on top of the sink tiles and not even using a chopping board.
