The Balanga City Plaza is definitely the little Rome of the country. It also has a German feels to it because of the architecture. The Plaza Mayor de Balanga situated at the heart of the city is a heritage icon that sums up what Bataan has to offer.

Spacious with lots of benches, could use a bit of shade though because it gets too hot in summer and too wet in rainy seasons. Aside from that minor grumble, the plaza is very clean and well-kept. There are community guide persons who, aside from answering queries, also remind people to keep the place clean. I think there is also a public wifi? I haven't tried connecting to it recently though. Big events are also held at the plaza, free for everyone to watch especially during December where there are different mini concerts and such every night.
