Ng Wanam is a hidden gem, in the market. This hole in the wall is an open secret for the locals, a stuff o legend (since I always hear it when I still stay in Batangas city) and it didn't disappoint.
Pancit Wanam (Miki Guisado): 5/5 A different take for the traditional pancit miki. Honestly I expect it to look like canton style with only Miki noodles. It's worth the try. The pancit as I can describe it is a mixture of sweet and salty, like estopado if you are familiar with it. I'm not into pancits honestly (I only eat canton and chami 😅) but this one passed my palate. Recommended
Roasted chicken: 5/5 The highlight for me. It reminds me of traditional hawkers style roasted chicken, but the best one. It's different from any quick service restos (inasal, andoks, chooks, savory) a unique taste. Highly recommended.
