There is something uniquely comforting about spending time with friends at Starbucks. The cozy ambiance, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the friendly buzz of conversations create the perfect setting for a relaxing gathering. An average session at Starbucks with friends may seem simple, but it is often filled with meaningful moments that make lasting memories. The experience usually begins with the ritual of ordering our favorite drinks. From classic lattes and caramel macchiatos to adventurous seasonal specials, each friend chooses a beverage that reflects their personality and mood. The sight of baristas crafting our orders with precision and care adds to the anticipation. While waiting, the excitement builds as we talk about everything from work and school to weekend plans and funny stories. Once we find a cozy corner or a seat by the window, the real magic begins. The rich flavors of the coffee complement the rich conversations we share. Laughter fills the air as we exchange jokes, reminisce about past adventures, or dream about future travels. Discussions often veer from the serious to the silly, creating a tapestry of emotions that strengthens our bond. The background music provides a gentle soundtrack to our conversations, enhancing the warmth of the moment. No Starbucks session is complete without a little indulgence. A shared pastry or a tempting slice of cake becomes a communal treat, adding a sweet note to the savory experience of friendship. The simple act of breaking bread (or cookies) together reminds us of the joys of companionship and shared moments. As the hours slip by, our drinks empty, and our hearts full, we realize that an average session at Starbucks is far from ordinary. It’s a blend of connection, comfort, and joy—a reminder that the simplest moments with friends are often the most meaningful. In a fast-paced world, taking time to enjoy coffee and conversation is a small but powerful way to nourish both...
Read moreI am deeply concerned about the sanitation practices at this Starbucks branch. While ordering, I observed how the baristas handled the orders, and I was very disappointed with how unsanitary the procedures were. For instance, I noticed that they were using cups that had fallen on the floor during the order build-up process. Instead of discarding them, they lined them up for use. Additionally, I observed that they reused cups after washing them instead of opting for new ones.
Another issue was the way they handled the chocolate sauce (i guess) used for frappes. After refilling the sauce, they washed the pump but immediately placed it back into the container, allowing water drippings to mix with the sauce. This container was also placed beside the sink, which is not a hygienic location.
When I received my order, I noticed that the lid of my cup was dirty, and I had to ask for a replacement. Moreover, the cup itself was also dirty, with visible hand markings on it.
I understand that there were many orders at the time, but sanitation should always be a top priority, especially in the food and beverage industry. I hope these issues are addressed and resolved promptly to ensure the safety and satisfaction of...
Read moreFancy coffee shop. Nothing beats the local brew called "kapeng barako ng Batangas." I grew up in the area and my maternal grandmother used to grow, harvest and brew Arabica (and possibly, Robusta) coffee. I think the volcanic soil makes a difference in the taste of coffee.
Food wise, all western based food.
The fancy coffee here isn't that great if you ask me. However, the fact that Starbucks is an American company, it is popular to well-off locals including the hordes of grade school and highschool students from local exclusive schools. I still wonder what these youngsters are ordering. It can't be coffee for their age.
So why rate five stars, you ask. Well, there is really nothing local to compare it with. Coffee wise, my grandmother's Kapeng Barako still tops any fancy brew from Starbucks or...
