We went to Wanam sa Bukid yesterday after our trip to Montemaria. The last time I tasted their food was wayback in 2017. The food is still good. I and my family enjoyed them. Here are our orders: 1/2 Fried chicken = The chicken is tender and cooked well. It has that sweet , salty and savoury taste. If you're into original fried chicken and don't like soy garlic chicken or adobo with sugar, this may not be for you. There are people who prefers salty fried chicken and this is not it.
(1 Large) Wanam fried rice = The taste is just right. It's not salty and it's not bland either. Rice is not clump together. Very good kasi buhaghag . You'll also taste the chorizo.
1/2 Lumpia = If you like Chowking lumpia, this one is better. Btw, this serving (12pcs) cost P180. Few years ago, it's only P120. 😂🤣
Wanam Miki guisado (Double). This one is on the salty moist side. It's perfect if you put it inside a bread like pandesal or mantou. It's serve along calamansi and chili to balance it out if you find it too salty, for your taste.
The bill was P1010 minus a Senior disc so I only paid P950. We're 3 adults by the way, and we were not able to finish what we ordered so we had takeout. Since it was good for 3-5 pax, it's better than having fast food. 😊
I rated 4 on service and atmosphere because there's still room for...

We tried their Wanam bundle for ₱1,400, which includes Wanam Fried Rice, Fried Chicken, Miki Guisado, Lumpiang Shanghai, Coffee Jelly, and Iced Tea, good for six people.
Honest Review of the Food The fried rice was okay and satisfying enough. The chicken, however, was dry and tasted just fine. The lumpia had an average flavor, and we weren’t fans of the sauce. The pancit was too rich and a bit overwhelming, and the dessert, while sweet, was overly sugary...
Read moreWe had a worst experience for our dining. We waited 50 minutes for our food to be served. Sweet and sour pork they put fork instead of of spoon that the menu had a sauce , not a good presentation for serving foods. Supposed to be appetizers first to be served , our order for calamari was dried. It’s our first time experience here in batangas. I don’t...
