Kinilaw Kinilaw prepared with tanigue is good, but it becomes even more delicious when made with tuna. The tuna adds a subtle sweetness and a more delicate flavor to the dish.

Beef Kare Kare The Beef Kare Kare was somewhat disappointing. The meat was undercooked, and the skin had a texture reminiscent of a worn-out slipper—hard to chew. Additionally, not all the pieces were cooked equally; while some were soft and melted in the mouth, others remained tough. On the positive side, the sauce was flavorful, although it lacked the desired sticky consistency.

Grilled Tuna Panga The Grilled Tuna Panga had a slight fishy odor; however, the outer meat was well-grilled, offering a pleasant charred flavor that paired nicely with the accompanying sauce.

Sinigang Salmon Head The Sinigang Salmon Head was superb. Its sour, tangy broth, enriched with a generous array of sliced vegetables, created a refreshing and satisfying dish. I found myself craving more of the fresh vegetables typically featured in sinigang.

The staff was accommodating—they assisted us with parking, provided complimentary drinking water, and even gave us mosquito coils since there were flying mosquitoes around. However, the waiter was not consistently attentive, and I had to stand up to request something.

The place has a very serene atmosphere, even for al fresco dining. They have caged birds and roaming cats, adding to the natural charm. The property also features lush fruit trees, a spacious parking area, and an inviting ambiance. Additionally, they offer a conference room with air conditioning, suitable for diners in groups...

We were excited to try TAGGO Grill and Resto. The place looks nice and may potential sana for a chill hangout spot. But unfortunately, there are a few things I need to call out.

🔊 First of all, the music was super loud and honestly, masakit sa ulo. Most of the songs were heavy rap and thirst trap-type.

🍽️ Then the food. The menu was a bit confusing. We ordered “Bistek,” expecting beef bistek Tagalog, pero what they served was actually pork steak.

👨‍🍳 Service was okay, staff were friendly.

💸 As for the food, it was okay. But there were a few tastes na kailangan pa i-improve. Some dishes were bland, others a...

The place is good: we go to TAGGO for our out-of-the-office meetings since they have a private room you can book. It's a good place for an evening out too - their alfresco dining area adequately lit and gives off a "weekend night" vibe.

If there's one thing I found off about the place, it's the availability of certain items on the menu. There's always a burger item or appetizer that isn't available, which can be quite annoying.

But other than that minor issue, TAGGO is a perfect place to take your friends for a nice drink in the evenings with good atmosphere and available...

Just dined tonight. The vibe was relaxing. Since it was raining, we ordered beef sinigang and crispy tenga. I would say that the sinigang had a different twist on it, as it had ginger. But the taste grew on me, the beef was tender. The crispy tenga was crispy but not too crispy. I would recommend the place if you and your friends would like hang somewhere here in batangas city.
