Kalye 648 — Restaurant in Cebu City

This is not to ruin the name of the establishment but to spread awareness of what our legitimate experiences were when we decided to dine here.

Date: February 14, 2023 Time: Arrived at 7 PM

No proper waiting area like enough seats for guests to sit while waiting Staff was just sitting around, not letting guests be seated right away. If my company didn't approach the staff who was just sitting, we would have waited longer. When we were seated, no one immediately took our order. We kept calling the staff but no one is still taking our order. MAJOR RED FLAG: While we were waiting, a lot of tables still had no food. That was a loooong waiting time. Meaning we had to wait another 30 minutes or so just for our order to be started in the kitchen 😭 They are also unorganized. Staff are confused as to what the table numbers are Lots of tables, incapable of handling the number Hidden in a minor road, inaccessible No parking space for big cars. Barely enough for motorcycles Our friend who had eaten there told us that some of their orders were cancelled because the kitchen staff couldn't handle it. And when they received their order, the food was hastily done making it so-so.

CONCLUSION: They are still not equipped to handle a large number of people and are severely understaffed considering they have been in business for years. It should have been a red flag that it's just house turned to an atmospheric restaurant. We ended up not eating at all and went...

I love how "chill" the place is. If you wanna 'just' eat, you can. If you're just there for drinks, you can as well.

Ambiance is amazing for me - from lights to set up. It's not that dark, not that bright. Just perfectly dimmed.

I also like how they hit the music volume just enough for you to be able to talk to friends... But sing along to it when that "moment of silence" passes.

I wasnt able to take pictures. I got lost in spending my time talking to the people i was with [which is a very beautiful thing] AND appreciate their place.

So you must be wondering "Why Just 4 Stars Then"??? Its just something minor - thier closing time 😁.

The do their last call by 11pm but can wait for your buddies 'til you guys finish, say 12am to 12:30-ish.

So my review would actually be worth 5-stars. The 4-stars is just a personal preference. 😜

We ordered pork belly, burger steak, chicken wings with rice. The pork belly was delicious however the meal would have been much better if there was something to compliment the rice and belly, for example a gravy sauce on top of the rice or any relish that could enhance the flavor of the meal as a whole. The burger steak was okay. Too pricey at Php120. The chicken wings arrived 30 minutes after we ordered. It was not properly salted to taste. We looked around the premises, there was no BIR Certificate of Registration posted or we did not just see it. It was very noisy upstairs because there was a child running around. The place is nice. There are tables outside too where you can chill and drink. Just not really impressed with the food. Hopefully, it will improve. Take note environmentalists: They serve their softdrinks with the straw. Better inform them beforehand and dont forget to bring your own...
