Utopia Bar & Cafe — Restaurant in Cebu City

This is by far the most disappointing cofe shop/ bar I've ever been to. Aesthetically appealing, yes, but this is where any appeal ends. From the loud generic house music, to the absolutely horrible service, to the 25-minute + wait for two non alcoholic drinks.... I completely understand why some people sat down and left after 5min. The table next to us kept on getting their food at 15min intervals. Expect stray animals to dash through the main area at any given time and make a run for your food. 600+ PHP for an unsurprising iced black coffee and a botched mocktail? I will take my business to Mister A or La Vie in the sky next time. Same prices, better everything else. Utopia seems to be managed by Mr. Bean. An absolute joke. We didn't feel like wasting our time, money, and energy on the food after doing some Olympic-grade gymnastics to get the staff to actually serve the...

Definitely one of the places to visit if you’re in Busay. I recommend coming here in the afternoon to enjoy a better view of the scenery when it’s cooler.

The food is great, though not exceptional. It doesn’t quite match the quality of other cafes in the area. However, considering the overall experience, the menu prices are reasonable.

This is an ideal spot if you’re looking for a place to unwind, have coffee or a light drink, and enjoy the ambiance.

The best part was the customer service. The staff were approachable, though it can be challenging to get their attention when the place is packed due to the limited staff. Nonetheless, they were very pleasant.

They’re pet-friendly too, and there’s plenty of parking space, so no worries there.

After an unpleasant experience at a nearby cafe, we decided to come here for drinks.

I ordered a hot chocolate, which wasn’t on the menu but was made upon request. It cost ₱180, and I would rate it 3/10—it tasted like Ovaltine 😓. However, my friends ordered cocktails and frappes, which were both delicious! Despite the hot chocolate being a miss, the hospitality from the servers was excellent. The place is nice and clean.

If I get the chance to go back, I’d like to try their food. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.
