The service was truly disappointing. First and foremost, I was dining with my grandmother, who does not eat beef. I specifically ordered shrimp with broccoli, but they served beef with broccoli instead. Although I informed them of the mistake, I decided to let it go as we were in a hurry to catch our movie.
Since no one ate the beef with broccoli, there were leftovers. I asked them to pack it up, but the “manager,” Franky, was extremely passive-aggressive and unprofessional. He claimed that because I had booked through Eatigo for a 20% discount, I wasn’t allowed to take the leftovers with me. I even offered to pay the full price for the dish, but he was completely unreasonable, insisting they would just throw it away. This was especially frustrating because the mistake was entirely their fault.
What made it worse was the lack of professionalism and courtesy. When a restaurant makes a mistake, they should offer some kind of goodwill gesture, like an apology or a small complimentary item, to make up for the error. Instead, the manager was rude and dismissive, showing no empathy or concern for providing good service.
The whole experience was ridiculous. Franky claimed to have been a manager for 13 years, but his attitude and lack of basic customer service skills were unacceptable.
