Ate here twice and both times went with the server’s recommendations—had the veggie bolognese and mung bean soup. All dishes are made fresh, and they use plenty of vegetables, which is a refreshing change in the Philippines. I also appreciated the option to add extra protein (paid 50 PHP for extra tofu), which was great considering how difficult it’s been to find protein-rich vegetarian dishes elsewhere. The staff is very friendly, and overall, I had a great experience. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the spice levels were a bit inconsistent—the bolognese was a bit too spicy, while the soup was on the bland side, even though I asked for medium spice both times. That said, I still really enjoyed the food and wish them lots of success!

This place literally kept me alive in Moalboal. Though there are several vegetarian/vegan options in town, this one just delivered what I was looking for day after day (which was mostly a lot of veggies, it lives up to its name). I think I came here every night and tried several different things off the menu, but the cashew nut tofu stir fry with an egg was my favorite and my go-to. It’s located inside the food court, Mercado. It’s a small stand in the back and the staff are super nice! I recommend going outside of peak hours, wait was long at 7-7:30pm but almost none at all from 6-6:30pm. Prices are fair and reasonable and portion size is good!

We had dinner at Hungry Veggie because they offer some vegan options. The food was okay, though it definitely has room for improvement. On the bright side, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience more enjoyable. I hope they can refine their dishes to match the warm service!

I recently tried the Viggie Burger at Hungry Viggies/Vegan in El Mercado. Honestly, the burger caught my eye with its unique blend of flavors and promise of a satisfying patty. The patty was flavorful, with a nice balance of savory and sweet. I would highly recommend this viggie burger. The unique flavor combination and satisfying texture make it a standout in the viggie...
