Brankolei pizza Italian vero — Restaurant in Daet

I was very hungry and really didn't know what I wanted to eat. I hadn't had anything for about 24 hours, but I wanted to be comfortable and have a refreshing juice. So I chose Brankolei in Centro.

I took a risk and ordered the chicken alfredo, a falafal cone, and a pitcher of fresh lemonzito, which is basically calamansi juice and water.

The pasta was excellent, the alfredo sauce made from scratch, and the falafel cone was just a treat. I will say the garlic bread should have a bit more garlic and butter on it. I kept wondering if it actually had garlic or if it was a culinary placebo..

I had a rare dessert of vanilla gelato with strawberry topping.

What's not in the photos is the coffee..I had two cups after dinner as I've been dragging all day.

Price was ₱525...

We discovered Brankolei a couple of months ago and have made it our only pizza to eat. Excellent pizza. We got deliveries every week. And we ordered last night, when the pizza arrived we learned it did not have the pizza sauce on the pizza. My wife called the store to tell them and there answer was, "Oh Well" I will tell the people in the kitchen" No, we apologize or will fix it. We ate the pizza anyway, it was O.K.. But the customer service response will force me to order elsewhere...

Tiny hole in the wall but the only place I could find in Daet that had Fettuccine Alfredo so I tried it. I was surprised how good it was, almost exactly the same as the last one I had in Canada.
