Update: Our second visit—this time with friends—and once again, the experience was exceptional. The service remains remarkable, and so does the food. We reserved their Concordia function room for added privacy (lots of catching up and conversation), which costs ₱8,000 and is fully consumable. We ordered many of the same dishes from our previous visit, along with some new additions—all of which were excellent and expertly prepared. Honestly, it's hard to pick a favorite from their menu. As always, the service was outstanding. We left the restaurant satisfied, full, and blissfully content. This place deserves the reputation it has earned throughout the years. The ambiance of the place is a solid ten; modern, simple, and elegant. The restaurant has its unique share of historical charm (old photos, memoirs) and modern aesthetic. The selection of food is a feast for the eyes; you can find what your taste buds are craving for with their wide array of dishes. Unfortunately, we can’t order everything but, the dishes we had were delicious and worth its price. 1. Peaches, Feta, & Prosciutto Salad — a great combination of sweet, salty, and zest complimented by the freshness of the vegetables and the flavors from the prosciutto. The service size for solo is very good and priced considerably well. A great way to start a meal. 2. Wild Mushroom Soup — Oh. As a soup lover and devotee, this cemented its spot as my number one. True to its name, the wild mushroom is the flavor you would want to indulge with every spoonful; buttery, soft, and warm. I would put this in a stand off with Shakey’s own mushroom soup but this has already won with the texture alone. 3. Per Pedro Mio Amore — their signature pizza for a reason. Nothing else to say. It’s the signature pizza for a reason! ❤️ 4. Truffle Cream Pasta with Caviar — Nothing can go wrong with a creamy pasta, nothing. This pasta dish made every bite worth a lick on the lips with how creamy and delicious it is. The truffle truly shined without overpowering your tastebuds. Accompanied by the saltiness of the caviar, it’s a heavenly match. It is very filling, ngl, but overall a very tasty dish to end a meal. 5. Australian Steak Ribeye — I love steak. I’m not a picky eater when it comes to steak. So, this is already a big ten for me; medium rare done right. Tender, juicy, and buttery - if this steak at this price point already tasted this good, how much more for their wagyu? Damn, what a perfect protein. 6. Lychee Shake — Fruit shake done right, finally. I hope that this was really made from fresh lychee cause this was the best drink! Overall, our first visit to Olivia’s has been amazing. The food was great, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere is just perfect especially during a lazy afternoon with the city still buzzing with life. Olivia’s reputation is well deserved and I hope it stays that way and be the best restaurant to go to in Dagupan City. I will surely return and this time with my family.

My first dining experience at Olivia's was a big disappointment for the following reasons: #1. I was served a Rootbeer float in a broken glass. #2. The best pizza of the house (Per Pedro) didn't have any Mozarella cheese and it had low quality, cheap tomato sauce. #3. The restroom was dirty and there was ZERO handwash before I ate the finger food I ordered. More than 8 months later, I came back with a super beautiful date and her BFF. I wasn't expecting much. I checked the restroom first. Lol. It's decently clean, it had 3 different kinds of handwashes and a box of tissue paper to dry your hands with. The big improvement was really noticeable. Ordering nachos and pizzas now made sense. I'm glad the owner learned that finger foods and handwashes go together. 😂😂😂 Still no vanity mirror to check if some salad greens got stuck in between your teeth, but hey, it's a big improvement. So I ordered Rootbeer floats, the Per Pedro pizza and Carnivore pizza, and some pasta dish with a hard-to-recall name. Again, the service crew didn't disappoint. They were knowledgeable with the food offerings of the restaurant. I immediately inspected the Rootbeer mugs and water glasses. No broken glasses. 😉 The pizzas now had Mozarella cheese and the tomato sauce improved by leaps and bounds. 😉 The pasta looked spectacular. I got an additional order of salad greens with a difficult-to-recall-name and nachos as I felt the food servings were ungenerous. I was wrong as I later found out that the bowl from which the pasta was served was deceptively small. There really wasn't any problem with the food volume at all. 😉 Now, the taste test. The girls loved the food and the Rootbeer float. They also enjoyed the free 10-minute hand massage at the nearby Nail Lounge. They also enjoyed the old, framed photos. I'm a happy man AND so Olivia's Pizzeria deserves 5-stars this time.

This is one of the few places to get good Italian food in the Dagupan area. The selection is decent which should cater to most pasta and pizza lovers. I ordered the salmon carpaccio which was excellent. I shared a dish of shrimp scampi with my wife because she ordered a pizza. The linguine with the scampi was cooked perfectly al dente. The pizza we ordered had a crust stuffed with mozzarella cheese because my wife likes cheese. It definitely serves up the cheese and we frequently had to use a knife to cut the strands of stretched mozzarella when pulling away the pizza slices. We sat next to the back windows which provided a waterfront view which promised an interesting and romantic environment if we dined during the evening. I really enjoy the modern casual appeal of this restaurant. I think they have a small Karaoke/events room or two upstairs but I didn't look. They have an adequate wine selection and also serve cappuccino or espresso coffee. The service is professional and top notch - attentive and knowledgeable. I especially like that when the food is served, they describe the dish to you. Dagupan City needs more dining experiences that...
