Don't be fooled by the size of this place, as it holds a delightfuly sweet treat: artisan doughnuts. Maybe I am a bit bias towards doughnuts as a pastry but I was immediately sold with the variants bearing not only witty names (Edu Matchano? Berry Alonzo?), but also quite accurate and delicious flavors. Don Carlos' doughnuts bear a somewhat unique size between that of a regular doughnut and what I think is commonly known as a doughnut hole – basically, it's like a mini-doughnut of sorts and to some, maybe its in-between size lessens the guilt of eating plenty of these. But I was dissappointed because the flavor was bitter and unpleasant like a very overripe durian.
