I never thought Filipino cuisine could get this playful with spice and flavor. Al pater is served with the palapa(grated herbs, Spices/veggies with coconut milk) and comes with different choices of meat - chicken, tuna, beef. This is a hidden gem in iligan City. I feel like like this is a very under rated dish in the Philippines and that it needs more public recognition. The service was great! A nice place that offers a different vibe than your traditional carenderia/eaterie. Praying they open one in Cebu City as there are a lot of foodies there who are looking for something new to spice things up.

I dined there a few days ago and it seems the location on Google Maps is not accurate. This restaurant is located on the main road in town. Anyway, the food is interesting yet simple. Had never had pater before. It's essential a lump of rice topped with a little bit of meat and wrapped in banana leaf. The woman working said the beef pater was the bestseller but I was surprised. The tuna pater tasted much better. Be sure to get some hot sauce to put on top. Prices are very good and most people order the pater with a piece of fried chicken on the side (of course!)

Pater Al-Kuwait is easily one of the best Pater restaurants in Iligan, and its reputation has even spread to CDO. The food is both delicious and affordable, making it a popular choice for students and locals alike.

The serving time is quite fast, so you won't have to wait long for your meal. The highlight of the menu is definitely the Palapa, a Muslim delicacy that is both spicy and flavorful. If you're a fan of spicy food, this is a must-try dish.

In addition to the Pater, Pater Al-Kuwait also offers chicken and lumpia to go with your meal. These sides are also very tasty and are a great way to round out your meal.

Everyone should try this Halal food establishment! Their pater is really good and tastes like those paters prepared by Maranaos who grew up in Marawi. Honestly I was a bit skeptical about trying their foods at first especially upon knowing that the owner, sir Rex, is a Christian because I already have bad experience with pater and palapa that are sold outside of MSU Marawi (even if it's sold by Muslim entrepreneurs); and I always think that Marawi still offers the best pater ever. However, Pater Al-Kuwait definitely changed my view - very customer-oriented!
