Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Iligan

Shakey's has always been a favorite for many reasons. Nostalgia, awesome food, and it never disappoint! Ever since i was a kid, i have always loved shakey's! And now, my family is also a big fan! Whenever we want good food and some bonding time, me and my two daughters almost always find ourselves here! This is like a happy tradition for many families like mine. So it was great news that shakey's reopened in Iligan! Of course the food! Well, this is the original pizza parlor. Although it does not resemble the shakey's restaurants of the yesteryears, one bite into a shakey's pizza, fried chicken, or mojos will bring you back to those happy times! I go to shakey's alone very seldom, so my personal favorites are my family's and my daughters' too! To cite, shakey's special thin crust is the king! Fried chicken and mojos never without! Occasionally, we would go out of our comfort zone and order scallop, managers choice, Friday's special, or pepperoni pizza but that is only when other people are around like friends. Mozza sticks, onion rings, salads and spag are add-ons but not the main act! But i think it is safe to say, and most would agree that all items on the menu is good! For this Restaurant (iligan branch), i give 5 stars for the food as i would in all shakey's that i have been to, but 3 stars for the staff. 3 stars because the service is just so-so. Often they are slow to get you seated, take a while just to take you order, and equally long to get your bill. Rest rooms are always clean, the store is neat and well appointed with decent ambiance. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE JUD! I went to shakeys to claim my birthday pizza and I also got take out orders as an additional. I waited for more than 10 minutes just to get my card checked for verification and I waited more than 30 minutes for my order and when I got back, they told me to come back tomorrow to claim my bday pizza because there was a system error. I told themI could not come back tomorrow because I had other errands so they asked for my id. Then I waited almost 10 minutes to be entertained just for the id and another 20 minutes waiting because they cooked the bday pizza pa. Then I saw it was already in their food counter and it sat there for almost 20 minutes because they did not pack it and i had to follow up!!!! IT WAS MY WORST EXPERIENCE AT SHAKEYS ILIGAN. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT SHAKEYS BUT THIS BRANCH HAS THE MOST AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Almost [2 HOURS WAITING!] for our order of two [Regular Sized pizzas]. They said they messed up our order. They served the ones who arrived later than us. These are the same experiences as the other reviewer here and it proves they do really have [HORRIBLE SERVICE]. NO Apologies given from any of their crew.

They even refused to make me avail the free welcome pizza included in the card membership since [they can't verify if i already claimed mine] even their shakey's app says it's still claimable since I only redeemed my birthday pizza before and also on that day there was no promised 15% discount for the birthday month as stated in their promo.

Their [Pepperoni pizza] is way too salty. must've put too much salt and never bothered to fix it.

The only good thing is their Shakey's Special pizza but for the time it took, makes it a 2️⃣ / 5️⃣ tops.
