Lyleth's Overlooking Restaurant, Events & KTV will recommend for casual dining β β β ββ will not recommend for events β β βββ
Rating Comment Food Quality β β β ββ The presentation and taste of food is okay. Though its only filipino food.
Ambiance β β β ββ The place is really nice the view is good and I like the glass guardrail and the aesthetic of the place. expect that it is hot during hot days because they dont have air-conditioning since the area is an open space. the huge celling fan was not working.
Food Service β β βββ The food service was kinda poor, they donβt do pre-bussing which attracts flies and insects while we were eating.
Event β β βββ Their service was poor, waiters were slow to serve food to guests, they didn't serve water, again no pre-bussing our photos during the event included tables with unclean dishes which was not nice to look at. You can't set up a projector because of the natural open lighting Even though you paid for the entire venue they would still charge corkage The one who handles events is not yet experienced, she didnβt ask necessary questions during the meetings that we had. She asked them a day before the event and on the actual day itself (like who are the VIPs, how will be the flow of the buffet) They have their own way of counting head counts of your guests so even though they didn't release extra food we were charged additional headcounts because as per them their count was more than what we reserved for.
Price β β βββ the price was actually reasonable but for the poor food service kinda makes it not worth it eventhough the food and...
Β Β Β Read moreLyleth's Overlooking restaurant, events, and KTV is a restaurant along Tagaytay-Nasugbu highway.
It has a 3-storey restaurant; the ground floor is the easy access to parking along the highway, with a dining area facing the overlooking view of Mt. Taal (unfortunately, it was evening, and I only saw the city lights far away).
The second floor is the covered dining area, and it is also used for a certain event (the golden chair reminds me of some marriage reception or christening a firstborn child of some sort).
The second floor is clean and spacious.
The third floor, however, is used for a private function only.
The foods are delicious, and the menus are homemade style. The sizzling sisig is delicious, and so the bulalo in a black Clay Pot (Palayok) is good for 6 pax; but pricey for a solo short orders.
Graham dessert is deliciously sweet even in small...
Β Β Β Read morewhat a great find this is! it was definitely a break from the usual food places in Tagaytay as it is located a little meters past Residence Inn. the place is new and well maintained and the food was very very affordable and delicious. our total bill good for 8 was a little over 3k and we were already so full. they have this cute roofdeck that was accessible to everyone if they wish to take photos while waiting for their food.
we went here for my parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary and they were kind enough to give them souvenirs of mugs and balloons. the staff were very accomodating and attentive and even the owner, i think, who was there that time, took the time to come over to our table and welcomed us and thanked us for spending...
