Pares King — Restaurant in Legazpi

the price is good and food is alright but the taste is not what you would consider the best. it is worth to try all the food in the menu but you might be dissappointed on some menu because that is not the right taste. the pares is not good because it is super sweet. i thought it was a mistake once but when i ordered again another time is was still the same. In other restaurant that is not the taste that pares king is offering. they have the name of pares but the taste is a big dissappointment for Pares. I tasted pares at makati and alabang and it is very different from pares king's taste. if they would change the sweetness level i think they would have repeat orders for it but if they stick with this recipe there would not be...

I've been eating here since/before college days.... Since I'm away, its my first time to eat here again... i loved the food and the ambiance. my companion ordered beef pares, and kare kare for me. for less than 150 pesos, i had the kare kare served in a mini palayok, a small dish of bagoong and a cup of rice in a plate. The lady told me that the kare kare is good for one serving only, but i think it can cater 2 people... so since madami akong ulam, di ko nalang kinain yung rice... their sabaw is yummy too... I'd like to order bulalo next time. they have good wifi connection, tamang tama for kids na mahilig mag youtube...

My fiancé went here to buy food for me as I'm stuck in the hospital across the street. The pictures online look fantastic, but the food in person is pathetic. The food portions looked like it was from a kids' menu so tiny compared to the photos online. The kangkong was nice but the bicol express was terrible and like I said so tiny in portion size. I also had food from there last night the crispy chicken was very over cooked and the lechon kawali was nearly all fat and no meat both of those meals were tiny also. Only good thing was my fiancé said the staff were super friendly...
