It was a happy but starving Saturday evening for me and I decided to dine here. After ordering and patiently wait for my food, I realized my table is across the air cooler and I'm feeling really cold. When my food arrived, I asked the service crew if I can transfer to a different table away from the air cooler and all she did is ask me if my order is complete and eager to grab the table number so she can leave. I ask again and she said "Yes, is your order complete?"
And that's it.
She served my food, grabbed my table number, left and started cleaning other tables, never bother to ask if I still want to transfer to another table.
Here are my concerns: She didn't even fake a smile while serving my food. She talked condescendingly to a customer and didn't address the concern (which happens to be part of the job) I would try to understand that its evening and she must have had a long day already but being rude to a customer is, I believe, not necessary. I did not order juice or soda and only ask for water but it was never served. Nobody even bother to ask if I would love to have a glass of one. Yes, I know that waiting for your food could be a bit longer because Biggs Diner is not a fastfood restau but it is a better reason that customer should be taken cared of. I expect that your service crew could have been as welcoming as the ladies on the counter. They really have big smiles and it is so nice.
Bigg's Diner has been serving good food since 1983. Don't let unwelcoming, rude and condescending service crews give Bigg's Diner a bad name.
I'm gonna leave now. Go home and drink some water.
(shaking my head)
I will still dine here next time. I hope to see an improvement. You know what words of mouth can do.
PS: Forgive some typos. Im writing with frustrations eh.
Leaving with disappointment in Bigg's...
Read moreI was looking forward to dining at Bigg’s Diner since it had been a while since I last visited the province.
When I entered the store, no one was at the counter except the person who seemed to be the store manager stationed at the cashier.
After deciding what to order, I reached into my bag to get my wallet. While doing so, another customer suddenly approached the counter and began asking questions. Instead of acknowledging that I was already waiting, the store manager chose to entertain the other customer.
I patiently waited, expecting her to return to me so I could place my order. But to my surprise, she decided to take the other customer’s order instead and told me to wait for my turn.
This experience was extremely frustrating and showed a lack of basic customer service. After this, I have no intention of ever eating at this...
Read moreAte lunch here with relatives at around 12 NN - 1 PM. The only problems we encountered was that around this time was that there wasn't enough seating, their party/conference(?) room was offered to us but it smelled weird? So we just opted to wait for a vacant table downstairs. The food serving time was quicker than expected, and we ordered a lot, not just chicken. Minor inconvenience was that the amount of utensils given to our table was not enough, lacking one spoon. We tried to get their attention for about a minute and they were quick to give what was missing. I myself had Korean spare ribs, which was pretty delicious although not evenly cooked all the way through. Their kimchi side dish could use a bit more improvement, it was not spicy at all. (Or maybe I just have a high tolerance?) Overall a pretty...
