Finally got to dine here after months of wondering when I'd get the chance—especially with my night shift schedule.
We ordered Set 3, which came with a whole chicken, two bowls of rice, caldereta, sinigang na belly ng bangus, pansit, and two 1.5-liter bottles of Pepsi. The food was great and the servings were generous. There were seven of us (five adults and two kids), and we still had leftovers!
I especially loved the caldereta—it was savory without being nakakaumay, and the meat was nice and tender.
The fried chicken was probably my least favorite. As a fried chicken lover, I found it a little too close to a Max’s-style copycat, except the sauce. I tried it both with and without the glaze, and sadly, it was a bit too salty for me. I would've appreciated it more if the flavor wasn't overpowered with saltyness.
The staff were kind and approachable, though a bit passive. A little more proactiveness would be better. Although, if you're a bit introverted, you'd love it as they don't hover.
