I felt discriminated against earlier this evening. I was about to pay at the counter when one of your waitresses dashed to close the door, as if I was going to dash and dine. I was wearing a simple shirt, black shorts (both Uniqlo brand), and slippers since I had just come from an exclusive resort at Laiya, which I had to book at least two months in advance to get a room. I was riding in a car, so I didn't bother to wear anything fancy. I wasn't even planning to eat there; we just walked in since it was the closest buffet.
This experience just proves that Sambokojin is way better than Yakimix. There was very little choice of food, really slow service in refilling the food items, and the staff were rude and unapproachable. I asked if someone could take a photo of me at the happy birthday stand since it was also my birthday. They kept saying yes, but in the end, they disregarded my request as if I had never asked. We were just standing there, dumbfounded, waiting for any further assistance, but there was none. It was as if we weren't even there!
Additionally, they perform a silly birthday dance and it's more like extortion than accepting money for it. They even display the money in their hands to show they are expecting tips for that awkward dance routine.
They ruined my birthday. My whole day was perfect until they ruined it. I will never go to any of their branches again. This will be the first and last time. I'd rather go to...
Read moreMy recent visit to Yakimix Lipa was extremely disappointing. The overall dining experience was marred by several significant issues. First, the cleanliness was a major concern. Many of the serving utensils were visibly dirty, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. In addition, the air conditioning was ineffective, making the restaurant uncomfortably hot in most areas. The grill service was also frustratingly slow. It took a full 30 minutes for our grill to heat up, which delayed our meal and wasted our time. However, the most frustrating part of the visit was the way they handled billing for my children. They waited until we were already seated and eating to measure our toddlers, ages 2 and 3. Despite my three-year-old only having a small amount of soup, he was charged because he reached the three-foot height requirement. While I don't mind paying, it was an incredibly inconvenient and inconsiderate practice to make us take the children to the front desk while they were in the middle of eating. The combination of poor hygiene, slow service, and an unfair and inconvenient billing process for toddlers makes this a place I cannot recommend. I hope the management addresses these issues, as they significantly detract from the...
Read moreHas a very Reasonable price for a Buffet. But there is kind of a lack of variety for sushi and pizza. There's only one Pizza type every time it is replaced and the pizza isn't even that good. It has a crunchy outside and that's it. I think they should find a better way for cooking the pizza. The sushi though, how can I put it this way.... There were some type of sushi i have never seen before, but it lacks the classic sushi and maki food. It doesn't have Tuna, salmon, or even a California maki. You could find California Maki everywhere even in those small restaurants that doesn't serve sushi as it's main dish. Also the quality of the sushi seemed a bit weird. The first time we went there the fish on the Battleship Sushi was softer and more delicate I could say. But on the second time it was really tough, like I was trying to chew a big hunk of beef like it was bubblegum. The staff also doesn't go around as much. During our stay only 1 employee wandered about without us having to call them. Overall it was worth it. Reasonable price and for a long time I haven't felt so...
