La Casita Bistro is a semi-modern Filipino-themed restaurant in Malolos, offering a balance of tradition and contemporary charm. Finding the place is easy, but parking is limited, so it's best to visit during non-busy hours. The visit was worth it, as our favorite Filipino dishes tasted 10x better than home-cooked meals. The Pork Sinigang Belly was a standout—no artificial sourness, just a fruity and natural tang. The meat was soft, tender, and generously portioned, perfect for 3 to 4 people. The Malunggay Pesto was an interesting Filipino twist on an Italian classic—flavorful and unique. The Orange Chicken was another highlight, with a deliciously balanced sauce that made it a rare but delightful dish. Solo rice portions were generous, easily shareable between two people. The Mulberry juice was refreshing, natural, and not overly sweet. The interior design blends historic and modern elements, creating a cozy yet elegant ambiance. With seating for around 30-50 guests, it’s spacious enough for small gatherings. They accept credit card payments, which is convenient. While serving sizes vary, the prices are slightly on the higher side for Filipino food. However, the authentic flavors make it a great spot for foreign visitors looking for an elevated Filipino dining experience. Highly recommended!

It's surprising that this resto is not popular yet. It's relatively small but maybe still has a seating capacity of about 40 pax. I once attempted to eat here but was surprised that it's empty. This time around, hubby and I tried it out even though we're the only customers. It did not disappoint. Everything we ordered from appetizer to dessert were delicious. Lotsa servings. We over ordered so we had a lot of food to go. Recommending this place to anyone who's craving good Filipino food!

I didn’t have pictures of all the food because we couldn’t wait to dig in. We had salted egg croquette, ginataang langka, fresh oysters, chicken moringga curry, sinampalukang organic chicken and our favorite, ginataang santol. We also had the guiltless sugar-free leche flan. The ambiance is equally as good as the food and service. Highly recommended!! Wish they open up in Angeles City!

Beautiful restaurant, I highly recommend for lunch, brunch, dinner, or any gathering that involves eating! As a Los Angeles native, that lives near Filipino restaurants this was the best outside from my Lola or mother’s cooking food experience I’ve had! Visiting the Philippines, and your in need of a place that reminds you of home, but with local high end ingredients, organic food - you must try this lovely place! Basically tried everything on the menu, and ended with a delicious dessert! Everything is detailed with flavor even with the pandan...

We chanced upon La Casita when we were out on field work. Literally hidden gem, to echo one of the other reviews here, as it's tucked away in an inside street.

Everything we ordered was delicious-- pako salad was fresh, kare-kare tasted perfect and vegetables were crisp, orange chicken was good (according to my colleague), and the turon was a great end to the meal. The place was homey and clean. The only downside was a lot of their menu items were not available.

Looking forward to eating...
