CHOWKING SHELL OUANO CEBU — Restaurant in Mandaue

Our recent experience at Chowking Shell Quano, Cebu, was quite disappointing. We placed our order around 12:30 a.m., and the staff informed us that our food would be ready in 15 minutes. However, after waiting patiently, our order was only served at 1:05 a.m. — a 35-minute delay beyond the promised time.

What made the experience worse was the poor customer service. When we politely made a follow-up, instead of getting an apology or update, the staff seemed irritated and unaccommodating. It felt like our concern was being brushed off rather than addressed properly. At that hour, with only a few customers around, we expected a smoother and friendlier service.

We understand that delays can happen, but the lack of courtesy and communication made the situation frustrating. As a well-known fast-food brand, we hoped for better consistency and professionalism from their team.

Jollibee Group should really re-evaluate their standards in their stores in Cebu. I had a bad experience with one of their Jollibee branch in Mandaue and now on this Chowking branch.
