Kojo Hotels Cebu-Mandaue — Hotel in Mandaue

Kojo is a nice hotel that is conveniently located along a major thoroughfare. It is easy to get a ride to and from the hotel and it is just across the Parkmall. My room was nice, updated and clean. The bed was comfy and you can easily adjust the temperature in the room with the split type aircon in tiptop condition. There is no window but there's really nothing to see around the hotel. It can be noisy though as the rooms are not soundproof. I was unsure if the noise was due to other guests or if they were students using the hotel like a dorm. The hotel is integrated with the commercial center and I observed that this can be a security concern as there's nothing to stop people from walking into the hotel's corridors and pretend to be guests.||Internet can be slow but generally okay though the signal in some rooms (as my colleagues who also stayed there say) is weak. Breakfast was average and can be crowded because of the limited space. Some guests would have to eat at the tables at the lobby. I feel the hotel is a 'Very Good' if they can improve security and noise and perhaps also have more...

We moved to a bigger room after staying in a deluxe king room for one night. The front desk officer handled the transfer very well. The housekeeping staff was prompt and efficient in helping us from Room 208 to Room 231. There is a decent breakfast for two people that comes with booking the room. In this stay, there was sinigang (sour soup), pancit, sunny side up, and hotdog. Brewed coffee and hot chocolate were served; also watermelon, juice, and salad. I love that this hotel is near Parkmall where there are several food options. You need to cross though. Within the same area - no need to cross just take the elevator down one floor - there are several cafes, a 7/11 convenience store, Dunkin, some Chinese restaurants, a Korean restaurant that serves unlimited meat, a P39 coffee kiosk, among others. It is always a joy to stay in Kojo Hotel. We love that the location is near Parkmall where we had an event/booth for four days. We booked the king bed room again because it was so spacious and comfortable. The Smart TV is an added bonus that the children love to utilize to watch their favorite movies/cartoons.The restroom is also equipped with hot/cold shower. The front desk personnel is attentive. The buffet breakfast in the morning is definitely a wonderful treat. The children love the hot chocolate and the salad. The selections usually consist of eggs and two other viands and then rice but more than enough to get your day started.
