Workplace Cafe — Restaurant in Mandaue

This review is made after Odette hit Cebu Province last December 16 2021. They just opened like 2 days ago if I am not mistaken.

I rarely give 5 for a review but I would like to commend this place for their availability to operate despite the devastating typhoon hit Cebu. These are things you need to know:

internet connection is VERY GOOD. Might go below normal speed limit if overpopulated of course. don't expect na air-conditioned ang place since they are using generators right now 100 for the 1st hour and 70 for succeeding hours with complimentary cofffee location is small and yet it can accommodate 70 to 80 people clean comfort room their usual rate before Odette hit Cebu WAS 300 per day (if I was not mistaken) they operate 24/7 BUT during holidays, pls check with them if they're open or not.

If you want to bring your food, please clean as you go.

Right now, Guadalupe branch is full. This one, not so much. Their Mactan branch is not functional since it belongs to Lapu-Lapu City where most of the electric posts have been put down by the typhoon.

The location is unahan pa sa Parkmall padulong Chong Hua.

Jan 6 update: it's quite populated now, so it means, it is not much of a safe place considering na pandemic if you situate yourself INSIDE the establishment, pls ensure you wear your facemask on since naay uban na ga take sad ug calls and are having vid meetings.

By the way, check their Facebook page too. They will update you of current changes like prices. Their Banawa branch is no longer using gensets so normal...

I won a ₱150 voucher from People of San Jose - USJR fb page so I went and claimed it. The transaction was smooth, the front desk personnel were very accommodating and got low voice (understood since the place requires silence). It's really tranquil, I wished I used their beautiful space then, but we were in a hurry and it's Christmas holiday.

The cafe is really recommended for studying and office works. 10/10. Though the beverage is a meh since the ice is thick and needs to be chewed. I ordered the Choco Hazelnut Frappe, it's an ordinary frappe; tastes similarly with my neighbor's shake. However, I cannot say their menu is not good since I have only tasted one and that's why I'm planning to visit again when the classes resume, for the tranquil place and for the other drinks.

All in all, 5 stars. The place is dedicated for work, space, and productivity & it really did hit the spot for those people who are into those three that I have mentioned. Certainly a...
