I recently stayed at bai Hotel Cebu and had the chance to visit Café bai, where I did my internship six years ago in 2019. It was a nostalgic experience—the setup and feel of the restaurant are still the same, which brought back so many memories.

I had breakfast on the morning of August 5 at Café bai. The only person I saw at the café who I used to work with was Pearl. It was nice seeing her again after all these years, but I only had a chance to smile at her since she was on the phone and was busy when I called her at the reception.

I was assisted by Ms. Arabella, a trainee. She was friendly and light to be with. We had a short but lovely conversation as she guided me to my table. I was seated in Annex C, which used to be my least favorite area during training since it’s farthest from the buffet. But I understood since when I arrived, the restaurant was full and busy, and they were accommodating a lot of guests, and the tables near the buffet were already occupied.

Breakfast on August 6, I saw Rachel. We exchanged greetings and asked how each other had been. I knew her back from my training days—she was also a trainee then, and now she’s a regular employee. She was kind enough to take a photo of me at the café.

During check-out on August 6, I was assisted by Karrie, another trainee from the front desk. The process was quick, only about a minute or two, thanks to the housekeeper who was already nearby and asked if I was the last to leave the room, so she could check it right away.

While waiting in the lobby, I saw Vince, Queen Mother, and a good friend from my internship days. We danced together one time during an event we helped organize for the hotel staff back when I was training with the F&B department, with Yeye, our Fairy godmother, who is currently assigned at the Pool Bar (but I haven't got the chance to meet him). Vince and I had a quick catch-up and talked about how things have changed and improved at the hotel. As always, he was very welcoming and fun to talk to, even though he was busy managing his team at the front desk.

I also saw some of my former supervisors during my stay, Ms. Icel, Sir Ruel, and Ms. Gen (whom I got to talk to during our check-in), around the hotel, which made the visit even more special.

It was a great feeling to be back at the place where I started my hospitality journey. Being a guest this time made it even more meaningful, especially with the warm and familiar faces who made the experience more special.

Hotel Review – Bai Hotel Cebu (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Stay Duration: July 8-12, 2025 Room Type: Deluxe Room

We stayed at Bai Hotel Cebu recently and was thoroughly impressed, especially by the cleanliness of the room—a standout feature that really elevated my stay.

🛏️ Immaculate Room Condition The room was spotless upon arrival. The linens were crisp and fresh, the floors were gleaming, and the bathroom was thoroughly sanitized. No dust on surfaces, no stray hairs in the bathroom—everything felt like it had just been deep-cleaned. Even the corners and under the furniture were well maintained.

🧼 Daily Housekeeping Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day. Towels were replaced promptly, toiletries were neatly restocked, and everything was tidied with great attention to detail. Turn-down service was a nice touch, too.

One of the most memorable aspects of my stay at Bai Hotel Cebu was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From check-in to check-out, the team consistently went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.

👨‍💼 Front Desk & Check-in: Check-in was fast, organized, and courteous. The front desk staff welcomed me with a smile, offered a drink while waiting briefly, and gave a helpful rundown of the hotel facilities. They handled questions and requests with genuine professionalism and warmth.

🍽 Dining Staff: Restaurant and buffet staff were attentive without being intrusive. They quickly cleared plates, offered refills, and remembered small preferences (like how I take my coffee). The service at Café Bai was particularly impressive—friendly and efficient even during busy breakfast hours.

🛎 Housekeeping & Other Services: Housekeeping was consistent and polite, always greeting guests in the hallway and working quietly. When I requested extra pillows and towels, they arrived within minutes. Concierge and valet were equally helpful, offering advice on directions and assisting with bags.

✅ Final Verdict If room cleanliness is a top priority for you, Bai Hotel Cebu absolutely delivers. I felt comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the entire stay. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers who value a clean and modern space.

The staff at Bai Hotel Cebu truly elevate the entire guest experience. Their hospitality, efficiency, and kindness reflect a culture of service excellence. I left with great memories—not just of the hotel itself, but of the people who made the stay feel...

My name is Janet Olson. My experience at The Bai Hotel was exceptional. If I could rate the review at 20 I would give it the highest ranking. Starting at my arrival. I felt as though I was entering the Royal Palace. From the bellman to the security, ambassadors, concierge, front desk receptionist/reservationist, everyone was on one accord, genuine smiles, professional in dress, hospitality, customer service. Rooms were clean, complimentary buffet was exceptional. In room service, food, laundry and other services offered were great. The rates were very reasonable, unimaginable for this 5 Star hotel. For me it ranked 5 stars. If this hotel was In America, the starting rate could easily be $250 nightly for a single. $300 and up for a suite. I would suggest that every country would send their employees to The Philippians for customer service training, where they can learn what real hands on experience can teach them when interacting with clients/customers and guests. They can learn about integrity, humility, communication and how to be respectful. I was overwhelmed with the professionalism, enthusiasm and hospitality among each staff, whether it was housekeeping or servers. I want to thank all of the hospitality, but an extra “Thank you” to Angel, who was a hostess in the restaurant. She was amazing and was our “go to” person, very attentive and accommodating, if we needed anything she was there with a helping hand and smile. Clay was simply amazing. He was the front desk host and clerk. I can go on and on about Clay. He made our stay pleasant, magical, and loving. His service and assistance went above and beyond. I would like to thank the entire hotel management. Oh, I cannot forget to thank also GEN Venus, Kamie, Yuni, and Kenny.

The spa is a must. I cannot began to describe the relaxation and professional masseuse service we received. It was the best of the best and the price was more than reasonable. A hotel where you feel safe. Security checks each vehicle that enters the hotel entrance with a security device that scans beneath the vehicle. I was more than impressed and I highly recommend...
