Service has been ok and still depends on the catch of the season and the staff does tell you what available. So from a one star to four star, this resto redeemed itself.

At first our orders we usually take out because of the pandemic and even if so, the take out food was alright and kinda impressed how reasonable the price was. But on the third take, they missed out an order and on the fourth take out, despite they were given a good lead time of an hour to enlist our order they gave us a last minute notice to that they will not be able to cater our orders. What is damning is why give me a run around of orders beforehand and they decide to cancel, they should have at least told me that due to the number of people dining in they cannot accept take outs 🤦 Very unprofessional. Now, the strike three is why they get a one star, was wanting to reserve at 1.30pm and their staff texted me the resto closes at 2pm, so naturally, they seem to not wanting entertain customers of the responses are like that. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Tanoshi, but I decided to give it another shot during my lunch break. It’s conveniently located near my home, making it a perfect spot for a quick bite. I brought my daughters along and we were quickly seated.

The restaurant wasn’t too busy or too empty, which was just right. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary hot tea. We ordered the chicken katsu roll, salmon roll, and tempura nigiri. The food arrived promptly and was fresh and delicious. The price point is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

We are so lucky to have a good japanese restaurant inside the village. I would highly recommend their Omakase set menu which has all their best sellers.
