The atmosphere was Ok. They wanted to seat us outside but we wanted inside dining because of the heat and the pool was right beside the dining area and the pool was full and very loud. The hostess was irritated we opted for inside dining but did eventually accommodate us 35 min later. There were some large groups but plenty of 4 tops available inside. We were seated and promptly our order was taken by a pleasant waitress. Unfortunately that was the last we saw her the food was very average but Ok. They forgot about my partners dessert so we finally flagged down what looked like a manager and she nicely asked for her dessert. We never saw a 1 waiter or waitress through our whole 1.5 hour meal . Our waters were empty and drinks dry. We waited and waited for our check we ask manager and several waiters for our check. We finally had to walk up to hostess station and pay This may of been a one off but very bad...
Read moreWe visited Lagoa Restaurant on April 20 between 10:45 AM and 12:00 PM for some drinks and halo-halo. While the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time, we unfortunately experienced very poor service.
When we arrived, the staff didn’t accommodate us properly. In fact, they were even pointing at each other, unsure of who should take our order. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our order to be served before following up.
Later, my parents arrived and ordered halo-halo and a few drinks, only to go through the same frustrating experience. They followed up twice, and their order was only served after 50 minutes. We found out the staff had forgotten about it entirely. When it was finally brought to the table, the halo-halo had already melted—and no one even offered to replace it.
This experience was extremely disappointing. We hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving your service and...
Read moreLagoa is the main restaurant at the Pico de Loro Clubhouse so it is easily accessible if you're staying at the Pico Sands Hotel or in any of the condos around the lagoon. The restaurant ambiance can use a major overhaul as there really is nothing that stands out about it other than that it needs work. The food is good although the fixed menu is incredibly limited. Good thing they have Chef's Specials which I think need to be mainstays in the menu. I wasn't able to take pictures of all the food we ordered but the Lumpiang Ubod was superb (that peanut sauce was sooo good). The Crispy Bicol Express was good but the original is better (sorry, Bikolana here). They should have labelled their Lechon Baka as roast beef because that's what it was. Top off your order with either the mango cheesecake or turon with ube halaya (the latter...
