I've lived abroad for over 25 years and have been to many Korean restaurants. I've also seen many people who misunderstand the restaurant business.

This restaurant is great—except for the owner.

First of all, her voice is so loud that I could hear her talking at one end of the restaurant from the other.

She was loudly telling four Korean men that she runs the place to make customers feel well-treated, but I don’t understand why I had to listen to that conversation.

Her voice was also too loud when training the staff. I could hear her getting frustrated in the kitchen, which was uncomfortable.

The biggest problem was that she kept insisting a mistake with my order wasn’t her fault. In the end, I, the customer, felt like the fool.

Then, she swung a fly swatter near my head to kill a fly. It seemed like she started this business for her own satisfaction rather than having a true service mindset.

In the end, I just paid and left, heading back to the noisy restaurant I had been at before.

But even if I told her all this, I doubt she...

About, Soora. Where the kimchi is as pungent as the owner's attitude. Let's just say, if you're expecting Korean hospitality, you'll be met with a frosty glare and a side order of disdain. Apparently, Filipinos aren't worthy of the same culinary grace as their Korean counterparts. The "prime short ribs"? More like "prime disappointment." Raw on the inside, a culinary crime against humanity. And dare to ask for them to be cooked properly? Prepare for a lecture on Korean barbecue etiquette (which, let's be honest, probably involves bowing and offering your firstborn). And the kitchen? Don't even get me started. Filthy. Absolutely disgusting. You'd think they'd invest in a mop, given how much they charge for their (frankly, overrated) dishes. So, save yourself the aggravation and your dignity. Skip Soora. There are plenty of other restaurants in Subic that serve delicious Korean food without the side of cultural...

Definitely the best Korean Restaurant in Subic Bay! I’ve tried so many Korean Restaurants in Subic Bay but this definitely tops the list. I love how they prioritize quality over everything. From premium meat cuts, vegetables and ingredients to the cooking tools they use and serve the food with, everything is top notch. But it is not just quality food, the taste is also very clean (not oily or greasy). Everything tastes good and the flavors are well-balanced. We’ve eaten here so many times and the owners are always very accommodating and friendly. It’s a bit on the pricey side but you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Also the ban chan are not just there as a side dish but they elevate the dining experience because they are unique and very well thought of. Clearly not your ordinary ban chan. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to eat good Korean food...

We ate here after driving from cavite to subic, travelled 3 hours for personal business and stumbled upon this resto. Very quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered set meals because we weren’t in the mood for KBBQ. The food was amazing, it felt like i was back in korea. Price? Decent enough for me ranging around 380 to 500 depending on your order. Highly recommend, food will definitely hit the spot
