I am adding comments because of the owner's reaction to my review.
You accused me as if I deleted my review and rewrite it with some hidden intention.
You are wrong. I didn't delete my original review and rewrite any different reviews.. at all. I wrote a review a month ago originally. However, a weak ago, I found some of the words I used might cause misunderstanding. So, I revised a little bit. That is all.
You asked me if I had any other intention. Well, my intention to review this restaurant is to tell people the truth.
My point is that the 5 points of this restaurant reviews are huge fake.
I would like to advise the owner. Don't deceive people for the benefits only a while. The truth will always be revealed. Be ashamed of yourself.
Below is my original review.
We are 4 Koreans family.
I am telling you the truth of the very high score of Google review for this restaurant. They offer a free drink if someone reviews this restaurant at Google with 5 points. That is why they got such a high score. Once I found this, I was very disappointed.... It is just a lie. I also felt very embarrassed because most of the customers are Koreans, and so are we.
Now, I am trying to review this restaurant as fairly as possible.
We ordered jjampong pasta, kimch fried rice, tang soo youk, you rin gi.
Jjampong pasta was very delicious. Even if they sell it in Korea, it will be quite competent. I can give it 5 points.
Kimchi fried rice was good enough. I can give it 4.5 points.
Tang soo youk was not bad. I can give it 3 points. Fried pork was very good, but they should reconsider the sauce. First of all, it should be more sweet and sour. And, it wasn't provided enough for the meat.
You rin gi was a bit better than Tang soo youk. I can give it 3.5 points. The sauce wasn't enough for the fried chicken.
About their services, they don't provide small bowls even though we asked, and they answered they would.. Maybe they just forgot it..
The atmosphere wasn't good. When people talk, the voices keep echoing and very loud. So, I felt very noisy.
The price was very expensive to think of their quality.
I would like to tell the owner of this restaurant never try to make people lie and check your services.
I will revisit this restaurant someday to check if it is...
Read morebeen seeing ads for suan bohol’s mongolian hotpot and we were excited to try it, so we made plans to visit. unfortunately, when we got there, we were told it wasn’t available, which was disappointing, especially after all the promotions.
we didn’t have reservations, but they seated us pretty quickly. we were a bit surprised that they only gave us one menu for our table of three. apparently, that's their policy, which was a bit inconvenient.
we ordered the garlic butter shrimp, which was overly sweet, and some of the shrimp were overcooked. the kimchi fried rice tasted more like cabbage and chili than actual kimchi. we also got the hong kong style pancit, which took awhile to arrive, and honestly, wasn’t anything special. everything was on the sweet side, which wasn’t to our liking.
on the plus side, portions were big and reasonably priced, but the taste was just meh. service was okay, though the servers looked a bit stressed. overall, the experience didn’t match the hype—just wish the food and service were a bit...
Read moreI recently dined at Suan Resto and found the overall experience to be quite average. The food was just okay, with some hits and misses.
Starting with the shrimp, it was a disappointment. The texture wasn't quite right, and the flavor was lacking. On the other hand, the Beef Bulgogi Bowl was a bit better. It had decent flavor and was reasonably satisfying.
The Curry Plate, however, was another letdown. It didn't have the rich, aromatic flavors I was expecting and was quite bland. As for the Calamari, it was just okay – nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either.
In summary, Suan Resto provided a mixed dining experience. While some dishes were passable, others failed to impress. It's not a place I would rush back to, but it might be worth a try if you're looking for a quick and...
