Starbucks Doña Soledad — Restaurant in Parañaque

I visited this store at 1 AM on March 30, 2025, and ordered two slices of cake to-go (1 chocolate chip cake crunch cheesecake and a plain new york cheesecake). When the manager on duty served my order, it was placed on a dine-in plate. I kindly informed her that it was a to-go order, and without saying a word, she took the tray and walked away. She returned with the cakes in a paper bag, but instead of handing it to me or acknowledging me, she simply placed it on the receiving counter and walked off without saying anything.

I had to ask another barista if the paper bag was mine, as there was no communication or guidance from the manager. I understand it was late, but this behavior—especially from a manager—was disappointing. It felt dismissive, and I was left wondering if she was upset or simply tired. Regardless, the lack of basic customer service and professionalism was noticeable.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously as I expected a much more positive experience, particularly with the leadership role being held by the individual...

This branch looks like a two-storey glass house along a very busy avenue. It has plenty of parking but always seems it isn’t enough since it is the only decent, stand-alone coffeeshop in the area. They have outdoor seating on both levels and a designated smoking area on the ground.

Lots of students, working-class heroes and local residents frequent this establishment for they have excellent service and a truly comfortable, cozy atmosphere.

It could get noisy here at times though. And better to have your jacket ready since it gets really cold here sometimes. Don’t really too much on their wi-fi though because the connection gets...

For a ten-year old branch, this Starbucks looks quite new and well-kept.

The staff are very jovial and attentive, answering all my general queries about the branch. The guard is very polite and greeted me as I entered the shop.

It has an alfresco dining area for those not keen with the airconditioned area.

Most people go to Starbucks mainly just for the coffee or tea.
