The French Baker PITX — Restaurant in Parañaque

Today, was the first time we had lunch there. We are a large group of people that work in PITX.

Food takes way too long to be served. Over 30 minutes for a pasta and a hamburger steak. Two dishes that are really easy to prepare and not that time consuming.

Service and kitchen was more interested in filling up the bakery items than to serve the guests.

Female service staff not really that friendly and efficient.

Bakery items and breads are actually of good quality and the taste of the lunch was actually quite good if you compare what other restaurants are in PITX but, again, far too slow for a quick lunch, especially if you only hand little time during a lunch break.

I ordered the mint ice tea. Had a couple of fresh mint leaves in there but didn’t really taste of mint. Use more to give proper mint flavour!

Not sure if I will go back with our office...

French Baker at PITX is hands down one of my favorite spots whenever I’m in the terminal. The place itself has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax while waiting for a ride. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile.

Now, let’s talk about the pastries, absolutely on point! Everything I’ve tried so far has been fresh, delicious, and just what you’d expect from a quality bakery. Whether it’s their croissants, bread, or other baked goods, the flavors never disappoint.

I usually buy the same bread almost every day from this bakery, but on this occasion, the experience was quite disappointing. The bread was still hot and underbaked, yet the staff member proceeded to slice it with the machine anyway. When I got home, the slices were all stuck together and falling apart. The next day, I went back to the bakery to explain what happened and asked for a replacement. The manager came over and apologized for the inconvenience, but still charged me for the new loaf—even though it was exactly the same type and meant to replace the faulty one.
