Ado's Panciteria — Restaurant in Pasig

I went here with my wife because I was curious about the top placing in Pasig foods in Eats a small world vlog.

I don't know if I will be disappointed in the vlogger or the resto.

The place - napakainit! For something na established na since 1952 at madami nang kinita, dapat naka AC na sila. They just installed many fans.

The food - sisig, meh. 2/5, looks like mang inasal sisig. Imagine the crunchy element of the sisig is a pork chop breading.

Pansit - Honestly, naka order na ako dito twice or thrice for delivery and they are okay, so the idea of going to their place must be better since the pansit will be freshly cooked. I ordered the pansit guisado with toppings for extra special version as the counter suggested. Still disappointed with the flavor and the toppings would be the breading as usual. May pork, pero ilan ilan lang. Serving size is plenty, but i can't help but feel disappointed in the taste.

ive been trying to give this establishment another chance despite them being consistent with providing upsetting experience for the past years. just recently, they did it again. theyve been consistent in serving the orders very late for whatever reasons they have.

I placed my take out order (ala carte meal for one) at 8:18pm (per receipt time stamp) but I got it at 8:50pm. im the only one upon arrival and ordering so naturally i expected my order will be served in no time. but since theyre consistent with lapses, 4 other customers after me got theirs (to go as well) before me. had i not followed up my order, they would have forgotten about it. same thing used to happen many times even before. the crew went inside took some time and got my order and even forgetting to give my change.

i only buy here if theres no other option but this will be my last. i live 5min away from the establishment so I witnessed how the quality of their food and service changed for worse...

The food was not good at all. Our food was served after 45 mins of waiting. And they served it one by one, totally cold and super salty. We ordered fish fillet, only to received a home made like fish ball with more flour than fish hahaha. We also ordered pork sisig and they served it after more than an hour. The portion and taste was not even worth its price. They served us the dessert first before the other main course. We also asked the server many times about our orders because most of the guest who came after us already done eating and some of them left already. Their excuse was, because we have big order. We are not their priority at all. All who came after us, was served before us. Staffs are not even welcoming at all. Not even smiling cashiers and servers. They totally dont care.
