My boyfriend and I went there to have a dinner. The place is nice, with warm lights along the beach. We really had high hope for this place.||||We ordered Luca's Pizza and Tonno Pasta. The food was great and tasty. What was disappointing is their service. We understand that the restaurant is nothing fancy, but the Filipina lady who serves seems to be very tired and uninterested of what she is doing. Considering that we are locals there (we are both Filipinos), she could have been a little bit happier at least, as I was very enthusiastic and jolly when I talked to her. We still hoped that maybe she will be treating the foreigners who were there at least a little bit nicer than how she treated us. But no, she was also very bland, uninterested and did not even smile at them.||||As soon as they served the food, they were nowhere to be found. We have to call several times just to ask for an additional order. We still have leftover food, so my boyfriend asked them to pack it. He had to go to the staff quarters as they were all there hiding (?). I was left at the table, and then I was surprised to see this lady taking the plate, didn't even bother asking if it's okay to take the plates and the food.||||My boyfriend even had to go to their quarters again to ask for the bill, somebody just shouted the price at him and they asked for the payment. No bill or anything. Didn't even bother giving the receipt.||||It's good visiting this place and trying the food, as it was 'authentic Italian'. But we will never come back to this place ever again. The staff don't seem to want to entertain customers anyway. So why bother. You could find other restaurants in Galera that have better tasting food and even warmer and better...

Read moreIf you don’t like food and/or life in general by all means flush your money and potentially gastrointestinal health down the drain of this animal-rescue-shelter-cum-restaurant. First, the ambiance: beautiful beach view but the seating area is overrun by malnourished cats and mangy dogs. Risk of canine contagion. Second, the service. Friendly but exceptionally incompetent. The food took an hour+ though there was only one other party in the restaurant when we placed our order. The waiter and/or kitchen staff forgot one of our salads. The calamansi juice I ordered came out AFTER the main courses and was disappeared from the table by our waiter before I drank one sip of it. Now: the, ahem, “food”. It appears the restaurant’s primary aim is to save on their pet food budget by having patrons feed what they order to the resident animal population as it’s mostly unfit for human consumption. I had to send the fried calamari back to the kitchen as it tasted like week-old fish. Their specialty, tuna salad, was highlighted by yellow-green unripe tomatoes and canned tuna. The pizza was, in fact, edible and greatly enhanced by tomato sauce - specially ordered AFTER the pizza was delivered to the table. Conclusion: dine here at your...
