Always wanted to visit this place but never had the chance since it was way off the beaten path. So last night while we were looking for a new place to eat at in town, the moon was so nice and bright we finally remembered to try Balinsasayaw Seaside. Using Google Maps, it led us to the right place. Just beside Princesa Garden, there was what seemed to be an empty lot with ample parking space which we were surprised was already almost full. We walked and followed the signs to a bamboo bridge that crossed thru a mangrove forest and before long, we breached the treeline and saw the horizon. In various cottages on stilts on both sides of the bridgeway, tastefully illuminated by torches, families and couples were already gathered for dinner. We chose the furthest and biggest cottage at the end because it had the best view of the moonlit Palawan seaside. Too bad it was lowtide; still, the view was fantastic! The gamu-gamo (flying ants) notwithstanding. The food was nothing special -- the usual inasal (grilled) chicken and meat dishes similar to their offerings in their original locations along Rizal Ave. and Manalo St. -- but they did offer group bilao meals and seafood! Alas, most were out of stock. (Maybe because of the full moon?) Were we expecting too much? Maybe. There was actually nothing wrong with the food (we ordered the grilled tuna and pork ribs, plus fresh lumpia and coconut juice), but for the location and ambience, it just seemed too plain, like all the other inasal restaurants (Ka Inato, Haim Chicken, and Mang Inasal) in town. There were other dishes but sadly most were not available. I guess we were just underwhelmed with the menu and expected something more appropriate to the great location. Still, a place worth trying at least once, or to bring your visiting friends or family. Will give it maybe another visit to try their other dishes -- hopefully they will have...

Restaurant It was right next to the seaside with full of mangrove trees. There's a bridge going into the mangrove forest, on top of the sand. With different cottages on where you can stay alone or with multiple other people. The place is so peaceful yet windy and has a great view of the sea
Food The food is great, classic pinoy food which was enjoyable and delicious. Which costs 65 - 3000+ Pesos. The food can arrive a little late than it should be, because the main cooking place is a bit further from the cottages.
Parking The main parking place is a basketball court which is large, There is security than can assist you while you park your vehicle.
Staff The staff are fast, responsive, super friendly towards customers. They are quite easy to talk to.
Overall the Restaurant is a great, must-visit restaurant to hang out with families and...
