Our evening visit was splendid. Came in for coffee and got surprised by the various selections. From breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts (oh boy cake lovers gotta try atleast one of the cakes). Good Cafe Americano. I hope they can have an option of liquid creamer or fresh milk instead of powdered ones. Quality coffee that complements well with the cakes. Giving 5-stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the the taste, quality and presentation of the Walnut Cake (a must try). Blueberry Cheesecake in excellent quality and texture. They have a small conference room for meetings or family gatherings of the sort. Tables and chairs available inside and outside the restaurant for your preferred dinning ambiance. Ample parking space laid out around the restaurant. PWD accessible ramp just beside the restaurant. Quick service and attentive hosts. We'll visit again to try the lunch menu 😊.
Additional thoughts, We had a wonderful meriendinner last Friday June 28. Generous chunks of chicken in my pesto that melts in the mouth. Yum! Well blended flavor too. I like the crunch of pine nuts. Pasta - al dente. Serving size - enough to stuff you in one plate. Price - very reasonable. I'll be dining for more. My husband had the meatballs and he likes the flavor of crushed tomatoes, flavor is not very strong but as he says enough for you to enjoy the fresh taste. Pumpkin soup should be consumed once it lands on your table so you can enjoy the cheese (did not read much description on the menu but guessing it has cheddar and mozzarella) on toast. This soup combination is best when it is raining delish! Lovely Brazo De Mercedez we had to order for another. I'd love to come again and try the other dishes. They really surprise us with good quality taste and quantity at a reasonable cost...
Read moreWe ended up at Brewing Point Café unplanned because of the heavy rain and flood. Just like many QC folks stranded today, we decided to eat and wait it out until the waters went down.
The place was packed when we arrived, which already gave us some assurance and luckily, there was parking available too.
Since we weren’t expecting anything, we just ordered like we would normally have at any other café… but wow, we were blown away! We had the beef salpicao bowl and sizzling corned beef, and both were incredible. Every bite was flavorful. The beef salpicao was super tender, and the gravy paired perfectly with the corned beef. The fresh potato chips and pickled sides made the meals even more special.
For drinks, we tried the white mocha and matcha. My partner said the white mocha tasted the way top coffee shops should be making theirs (high praise coming from him!), and my matcha was smooth, rich, and not overly sweet which is definitely not the typical powdered kind. They even give you brown sugar on the side in case you prefer it sweeter.
What sealed the deal for us was how work-friendly the place is. Some tables have outlets on the floor (a cherry on top for us corporate slaves 🤭) and they also offer good WiFi. You just need to ask for a voucher code and the access is valid for 6 hours.
Overall, my partner and I both agreed this is by far the best cafe we’ve been to (and we’ve tried a lot as hardworking “corporate slaves” haha). From the food to the drinks to the vibe, Brewing Point exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended — rain...
Read moreNovember 2019: It was my mom’s birthday when we visited for breakfast. She ordered the corned beef meal, while I had the grilled cheese sandwich with pumpkin soup. As always, Brewing Point didn’t disappoint when it came to taste; everything was spot on.
October 2023: It has been nearly four years since our last visit. The place has been rearranged, and the pasalubong items are now displayed in the dining area.
We ordered pumpkin soup, lengua, and pork & tofu salpicao. Both main dishes were delicious, but the pumpkin soup lacked flavor. It wasn't thick enough, and I could barely taste the pumpkin. They have also increased their prices.
March 2024: I met up with my long-time friend for dinner. We ordered Matteo's grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, a clubhouse sandwich, a watermelon shake, and a café Americano. The sandwiches and drinks were all delicious!
March 2025: We’re finally back after a year and couldn’t wait to indulge in our favorites! We started with their delicious Mushroom Soup, followed by the mouthwatering Beef Salpicao, and the highlight—a perfectly grilled Chimichurri Pork Chop. Every bite was a burst of flavor! It felt amazing to return to such a...
