CUPS-Metro — Restaurant in Quezon City

Looooved it!

At first, when i was approaching the building, i thought i was in the wrong place. Yun pala it was just hidden from plain view....and that actually makes it more fulfilling to go to. Feeling ko i found a treasure, because of how hidden it was. Hahah.

For me, perfect for remote work! Wifi: ✅ - altho there were times it was lagging a bit. But it only affected my Spotify podcast playing in the background while i work. And i dont take calls, so i don't see it as a problem.

Sockets: ✅ - most seats have access to sockets~

Noise level: ❓- can be a hit or miss. There weren't a lot of people when I went, even tho it was a Saturday afternoon-night. So it was quiet for a time. But when there came a group of customers, their chatter could be heard all over the cafe. And since it was industrial design, and mostly hard surfaces...there weren't much surfaces to absorb the noise. So i could hear everything they were talking about. But i just used my earbuds.

Food & Drinks: ✅ - i really liked what i ordered!! Truffle pasta with sausage? And dirty nom yen! Hindi sya mura, pero di rin sya mahal. For the taste of the food, i say sulit sya! Truffle pasta really tasted like truffle.unlike other truffle pastas where you cant even taste the truffle flavor! This even has a lot of mushroom bits! For the coffee, it was my first time seeing nom yen and coffee combined, so this item on the menu really got me curious. Hahaha and it was good!!! Their coffee was strong! My taste buds loved it! But my stomach din not. HAHA. As an acidic person. 😅 Altho, I would have liked to have tasted the nom yen more. The coffee really overpowered the nom yen.

Place: the ambience was really nice. I liked that we had a lot of seating options to choose from. I loved the interior design. And the overall feel of the place was pleasant. Plus they have CR! I just wasn't able to check if there was bidet. 😅

Will come back if ever I come across...

Cozy atmosphere, but its a small space …not recommended for bigger crowds. Not noisy…great for chill chill lang by yourself or alone time. Yong kape malasa talaga, I describe more the taste when I come back to this place again. Decor has minimalist vibe, a few electrical outlets if you have a laptop or tablet. It has background music, moderate not too loud. Very courteous barista, nasa dulo ako malapit sa stairs, nilagyan nya ako ng Electric fan without me asking. May CR rin. Fast Wifi! The ambiance at Cups Banawe Branch is great, with a cozy industrial design that makes it a pleasant place to relax or work. The coffee is good and definitely worth trying. However, the baked sushi could use some improvement. It feels too rice-heavy, and the flavors of the mango and crab sticks with mayonnaise don’t come through as much as expected. A little adjustment in the recipe could elevate the dish. Overall, a nice spot with room for improvement...
