We've visited other Samgyupsalamat branches in Quezon City and Bulacan, and this was our first time visiting the Banawe branch. There were only two parking slots and fortunately, we got our slot when we got there. The staff were kind and courteous, but not all of them. The place was neat and clean and organized. The table was set by the time we entered. Electric fans was also available since the aircon was not that cold yet. The side dishes served was not the same amount as served from the other branches. It was like a 1tablespoon of side dish per saucer. Not sure why. But of course I know we can order repeatedly. The meat was served fresh. The kimchi tasted weird. I'm not sure but there's something different to its taste. I even heard the other lady customer on the other table, asking the waitress if the kimchi was new. Something was off to its taste. I hope they check this next time. The lettuce was just 3 pieces per serving. I'm not sure if they are limiting all their side dishes for the customers or what, but again, it-was-so-little in every serving, compared to other branches' servings. The 3 waitresses and 1 waiter were kind to us. But there were 2 waiters who were snubbish, as they won't respond to your request and I even saw one guy whom I spoke with, telling the other waitress to give me what I needed. Big turn off. Will we go back to Samgyupsalamat? Definitely yes. BUT, will we go back to Banawe branch? Hmmm... we'll...
Read morereally loved the food - lettuce was fresh, meat minimal lang taba, and ang sarap ng branch na to talaga compared sa ibang samgyupsalamat. but, we had an awful experience sa service. it was around 9pm, place was not too crowded.
first, we had to ORDER our water. may baso and side dishes pero walang tubig nor iced tea sa table. second, from the start until the end, we had to make our orders at least twice para lang maibigay. asked us ilang rice and had to wair ~1hr for it to be served (aka busog na kami), asked us ilang soup and we waited for it while following up multiple times only to be told an hour later na ubos na raw. even the additional egg we ordered took 4 follow ups para maserve. the meat we ordered, delayed and had to be reordered as well. maybe have a checklist for your servers? because they seem to not remember lahat kasi they take multiple tables' orders. from the start we requested an additional tong, natapos na kami kumain isa parin tong so we just gave up lol.
wala kami masasabi sa food cause masarap talaga, but i hope you will improve your service. also, really loved the addition of the fried chicken or chicken option in general sa menu. infairness, masarap siya and usually the chicken in samgyupsals...
Read moreI had a very DISAPPOINTING experience at this place. First of all, the entrance is terribly designed — it's right behind their air conditioning unit, where all the hot air blows out. It’s extremely uncomfortable just getting inside. To make things worse, the entrance door doesn’t even close properly, so all that hot air flows directly into the dining area, especially towards the tables near the door. It made sitting there unbearable. My friends and I even had to stand up multiple times just to close the door ourselves, trying to keep the heat from reaching our table. Even though the staff clearly saw what we were doing, no one offered to assist or help fix the situation, which was very frustrating.
Service was just as AWFUL. It was hard to get the staff's attention even when trying to place an order. When they finally did come, they got the orders wrong or served them incomplete. On top of that, the staff looked unhappy and uninterested while serving, which made the whole atmosphere even worse. Definitely not coming back.
Overall, we hope management can seriously look into improving both the facility setup and staff service, because it has so much potential, but in its current state, we would not...
