Giyummy Korean Grill Restaurant Visayas Avenue — Restaurant in Quezon City

First time at this branch. Will not be visiting again.

Cons: waiting time; menu is misleading; staff is unapproachable

Pros: open until 2am; cleaner than the Timog branch

Arrived at the entrance at 9:45PM. They told us to wait to be seated. Took the staff 15-20 minutes to seat us when there were only 2-3 groups of customers inside (out of 20ish tables). Not sure why they had to do that. No explanation was given.

Menu is misleading. You can only order the beef and pork enoki once, according to the staff, but nothing about that "policy" is on their menu or their social media. I would have expected it to be stated in the menu considering that "beef galbisal (1 serving per customer)" was explicitly on it.

For how slow the service was, laging nagmamadali staff nila, parang may pupuntahan sila? Parang inip na inip sila kapag nagoorder ka or nagfollow up ka ng item. Iquequestion ka pa when you ask for service water aside from the juice/iced tea included in their unli. Although there was one server that was quick with his service, parang nagmamadali din s'ya at inip na inip at istorbo kami kapag nagoorder.

Not all of waiters are wearing nametags so, they're unidentifiable. I asked for two extra cups for our table considering that we had juice and water and the waiter asked us, "para saan?" It was such a weird question to ask.

We were out of this restaurant by 10:50PM. Our shortest stay at an unli kbbq place. Such an unpleasant time. Will...

Honestly, we've been going to this restaurant ever since they opened their branch in Visayas Avenue. Food is okay, the place is generally clean and the service crew are attentive.

One thing you have to take note is that they only 1 restroom, catering to both genders so the line is always long for the toilet.

Will I recommend? Maybe. Will I go back? No, definitely not.

One of my friends who ate with me has a diet restrictions and she is not allowed to eat excess fat. So she trimmed tha fat off the beef and pork cutlets that were served to us. It's fat! I mean, who would voluntarily eat a massive amount of fat, when the reason why we wanted to eat there was because of the meats. A little fat is okay, but too much is ridiculous.

The manager made her pay the leftover charge which is around 450php. Almost the same price as 1 pax! 450php for a small plate of fat!

So be careful, so that you will not be charged like my friend was. Napaka-OA for 450php, iyo na yung pera na yan omg. We didn't make a scene, but the kapatid of the owner did. Literally, as in, nakakahiya...

I had a terrible experience in this place. This is my first time in this restaurant and I will not come back ever again. It clearly states that the UNLIMITED meat costs P599 as per menu. However, 2 waiters came to our table telling that I am only allowed to order one (1) for the Enoki and 2 other dishes in the unli menu. Whattt???? Do you know the meaning of UNLIMITED yet you will LIMIT your customers to just ONE order? The waiter confirmed by saying,"Mam, ilabas na po rin po ba namin ang mga limited po?" which is referring to beef calbi, beef enoki and pork enoki. Gosh!

Not to mention that the staffs were unapproachable up to the point that we were hesitant to ask for another batch of meat, cheese, side dish refills. Not a good ambiance to dine in.

Overall, not a good place to spend your P599! Lesson learned, read reviews first before visiting the place. If I can rate this dining experience we had, -100 star for you Giyummy...
