Starbucks Reserve Visayas Avenue — Restaurant in Quezon City

Year 2019: I'm a bit disappointed with their drinks. Due to the “no to single use plastic” the drinks were served in a plastic container without a straw. How do you drink a frappuccino without a straw? The barista gave me a spoon instead. The ambience was totally ruined it looks like a scene from a food court. And the drinks doesn’t taste the same it was full of ice, it tasted like ice scramble.

During GCQ: Thank goodness the drinks improved a lot! The Sausage & Bacon flatbread was great, it wasn't hard and dry 😊

Aug 2022: Having hot chocolate and cafe latte on this rainy morning. Very cozy and nice ambience 😊

June 2023: We ordered Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino, Mango Dragon Fruit with Lemonade and Blackout Cake (no sugar). The cake itself is dense and crumbly with a bit of bitter aftertaste. The new Mango Dragon Fruit with Lemonade summer cooler is delicious! I love it! 🥰

Sept 2023: Dropped by for a quick snack 😊

Oct 2023: We had chocolate cake, cafe mocha and cafe latte to cap off the night. Excellent service, the place wasn't crowded but it was too cold 🥶

Nice place and the usual Starbucks standards in food and beverage. Except for the early* morning service*. I stood in front of the counter about 3 long minutes before any of the 4 chatting staff behind and in front of the counter acknowledged me, almost pretending like no customer was there. When one of them was finally ready to serve me, she said the cashier machine wasn't ready. Despite being open for business more than half an hour already, the food display was half empty. I asked whether they serve sandwiches at all and the staff said yes, they do, they just haven't taken out the sandwiches yet. I sat and waited. There were 2 other customers already dining there. After over 5 minutes since I asked about the sandwiches, the staff finally started putting the them on display. This is one poorly...

Packed full on just its 2nd day, it's the new kid on the block! Clean lines, high ceilings, and - most especially - a selection of better beans (than usual SB fare) define a Reserve location. Those who live in or frequently pass the area would have been witness to the accelerated speed of construction. The well-lit, fully-airconditioned, smoking area-allotted structure wasn't there just a few months ago. The elevated appearance has also influenced its neighbor, Andy's, to freshen up their corner lot storefront. Parking slots available out front (Visayas) and along Road 10. Some Reserve merchandise on sale. Maybe in time this branch could shadow the mother R store and also serve coffee flights and signature cocktails? Or even just more food options. "19 Vis" would be a catchy nickname to...
