Parking problem aside, Myon Cuisine is a great gem of a restaurant in Mayon Avenue.
Pros: The interior is really nice. With live plants, and some nice mix and match of furniture and chairs bring personality to the place. The plates and utensils are really nice too. The music is soothing and relaxing while having a nice meal. The foods we ordered are delicious. There are only 3 (2 adults and 1 kid and we were expecting to take home some food but to our pleasant surprise, we finish all our food. We ordered pomelo shrimp salad (refreshing), seafood saffron pasta (creamy and tasty), cebu lechon belly (super crispy and tasty) and four cheese pizza (a bit oily and uneven in thickness and cheese distribution, but it's delicious too). Staff are very attentive and helpful. Always refilling our water and just eager to accommodate.
Cons: The big problem is the parking. There is very limited space in front of the restaurant. Street parking is risky for clamping. They have a valet option for P100, but for me, it should be waived if one already spent a certain amount inside. Imagine spending P3k for 3pax and you have to pay extra for parking.
Tips: They accept reservations specially for peak hours. When we arrived, the parking attendant had to ask first if they could accommodate us without...
Read moreMyons Cuisine offers a culinary experience that balances highs and lows. While the main dishes may take a bit longer than desired, the wait is often worth it once the delectable flavors hit your palate. Parking can be a hassle, with limited availability, but the convenience of valet service alleviates some of the stress.
The food itself shines brightly with its tantalizing taste, generous portions, and elegant presentation, earning high marks in these areas. It's evident that the chefs take pride in their creations, as each dish is carefully crafted to please both the eyes and the taste buds.
To enhance the overall dining experience, it would be beneficial for Myons Cuisine to offer appetizers to help curb hunger during the wait for the main course. This thoughtful addition could mitigate any frustration caused by delays in service.
In summary, despite a few drawbacks such as slow main dish service and parking challenges, Myons Cuisine earns a solid four out of five stars. With its delicious food, ample portions, and elegant presentation, it's a dining destination worth considering, especially if you appreciate culinary delights served with a touch of...
Read moreOne of the worst buffets I've ever been to, at any price point, this place is bottom 3, easy.
The only thing that was hot and remotely good was the batchoy soup, the fruits and kakanin were barely up to standard.
Eggs benedict wasn't poached, more like day old soft boiled in a fake hollandaise with some kind of leftover pullman cut into irregular pieces.
The "steak" was actually reminiscent of leftover roast beef from what seemed to be a previous catering event. Dry, flavorless, chewy, and overly salty gravy.
The tapa had been left out too long without so much as a warming lamp, see the "sebo" that formed already.
The bacon was soggy and flavorwise wouldn't even hold a candle to store bought swift brand bacon. All requests to crisp them up were given a half-hearted "ok po" that never materialized.
Longganisa was full of extenders and i unfortunately chanced on an undercooked one.
Everything else is dry and old, even the ones that are freshly brought out.
This isn't a buffet, it's a caterer selling you leftovers at a premium that you have to reserve and prepay for.
Stay far far away from this farce of a...
