Iskina Pares Laksa Mami House - N.S. Amoranto — Restaurant in Quezon City

AMBIENCE Restaurant has dine-in areas both with and without air-conditioning though the cold option didn't seem to have wheelchair access. No-smoking. Parkings slots are at the front and side but I guess customers can try their luck along the street as well.

FOOD & BEVERAGE House Specialty Pares was tasty from the meat to the soup and fried rice. What I liked was having more beef than fried rice! Service water was refreshing and helpful on saving some cash.

SERVICE Everything was convenient. I had a pitcher of cold water, a bucket of utensils in hot water, and kalamansi next to me right away! Fried rice and soup were also served very quickly, and when I asked, a staffer recommended Buttered Chicken for trying...

It is good to know that they have added an enclosed airconditioned area already. Years back it was an open air venue. It is also nostagic for for some to see that they retained their counter type seating so customers can come and go easily, which this place is also known for.

On our most recent visit, we just ordered the classics, the fried chicken combo and beef pares. As always, my favorite pares of all time, still the same with the tender beef and that tangy sweet sauce, never complete with out the chili garlic sauce and kalamansi mixed in. Comfort food...

There are several pares mami in the area and this the only one with an option for an AC dining area. Parking slot available in front of the store. Pares is ok.The beef can be a bit tough sometimes and soft with lots of fat on some days but the sauce is a bit sweet but good. Price point is friendly on the wallet. Service is fast and the tables are clean. The Laksa noodles is good. Better than the regular beef...
