My first experience with Bonchon since I was in New Jersey, US was not really pleasant. Then the one in Greenhills Manila years was a nightmare due to the almost spoilt taste of the fried chicken. And yet here I am again this time at this branch because this mall doesn't have that great food choices plus the only one deserted minutes before lunch time. Honestly, I am surprised Bonchon is still alive. Anyway, I had been a bit.more confident today as long as I stay away from their fried chicken. And ordered their Beef Bibimbowl. It took a good 20 minutes or so before our food arrived. At P180 (around $3+USD), it came with a drink of choice. From the looks of it, more "wholesome" than its budget competitor Mr Kimbob's. As you can see clearly, the chunkier thin slices of beef and egg. Plus a welcome addition of japchae on the side and 2 slices of mushroom, and of course some corn. Topped with gochujang. Compared to Mr. Kim's paltry ground meat, grater carrots, corn, onions, cucumbers and kimchi. But topped with a sunny side egg instead of a drink. Though Mr Kimbob's is about 40 pesos cheaper. Tastewise - I much prefer Mr. Kimbob's Bibimbap as it is truer to the dish's healthier concept. Bonchon's take is excruciatingly sweet. Mr. Kimbob's has a nice balance of sweet, spicy, and tartness from the kimchi and effectively has less sugar and more vegetables. While my latest adventure here has granted me a more decent meal, Bonchon has let me down again.

I recently visited Bonchon and was very disappointed with the level of customer service. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed inattentive and disinterested. It took a long time just to be acknowledged, and even longer to place my order. When the food finally arrived, Wrong item served and no one bothered to check in or apologize for the delay even the manager on duty did not bother to explain what happened. The cashier was rude and making face while Im asking what happened. The manager on duty didn’t know how to handle this kind of situation, Im asking for my receipt and she refused, She was asking “ Bakit mo kinukuha? “ with mad expressions. What made the experience worse was the lack of courtesy and professionalism. There was no sense of urgency or concern for the customers, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and poorly trained. While I’ve enjoyed Bonchon’s food in the past, this visit left a sour taste—not because of the meal, but because of the poor service. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both staff training and overall customer experience

As a BonChon enthusiast, I'm a bit dissapointed on this branch. Food: The sauce on their mandu ad chicken mukhang tinipid. All other branches have flowing sauces on their meals and yet this branch only coats it a little bit. Service: Might be luck but they served my meal at 40 mins time. Atmoshoere: The table mat they served me with looks dirty. The tables are sticky and not well wiped.

Hi, I always order in Bonchon SM San Mateo, I love the foods it's just that particularly Today, I ordered a Two piece chicken with fries, the fries are great, but when I opened my food box, I was surprised since I specifically asked the cashier what part of chicken are available for the day, and she said that there are only, Chicken Breasts and Wings, so I told her that I'd like to have the Breast for my order, and when I got home, my order was messed up, I had Chicken Leg and wings instead of the breasts I ordered. I'm a bit disappointed because this doesn't occur to other fast-food restaurants that I ordered from.

Please improve your service quality, that is...
